Wow, around to that time of the week again already! Luckily it's a day off for me today, so I've had time to work out what we're having.
Here goes:
Mon: Bolognese Toasties
Tues: Chicken Rogan Josh with rice and extra veggies
Weds: Omelettes
Thurs: Lasagne with salad and garlic bread
Fri: At Mum's
Sat: Lamb Kofte Kebabs with salad (Or Moussaka, depending on what DH fancies)
Sun: Homemade Pizza with fridgely toppings
Breakfasts will be cereal or flapjacks, and lunches will be the usual sandwiches, fruit and a cake bar or something. I'm hoping now that January is nearly out of the way I can concentrate on the frugal year ahead.
Have a good week, everyone, and I love reading your mealplans. Thanks!
Kitchenbunny xx

That's the worst thing about this thread, isn't it? Everything sounds so tasty!
Talking of which, can I ask for the recipe for your butternut squash and polenta bake, please? I'm very partial to both of those and a recipe with both sounds ideal to me!
Thank you!Back after a very long break!0 -

Wednesday - broccoli and red pepper quiche with potato wedges
Thursday - sweet and sour chicken with rice/noodles

Well - we are well & truly skint at the moment. DH is self employed & business is always slow this time of year but even more so this year (he's a carpenter/joiner) so the good old rubber chicken is on the menu this week:
Saturday – Chicken fajitas with sour cream & salad
Sunday – Chicken dinner with roasties, sprouts, broccoli, carrots, leeks in cheese sauce, gravy & stuffing
Monday – HM Chicken, potato & leek soup & pizza
Tuesday –Macaroni cheese (Economy Gastronomy)
Wednesday – Steak pie, mashed spuds & broccoli
Thursday – HM chilli with rice
Friday – Left over chilli with baked spuds
Have a good week all x0 -
Some good meal plans here, puts me to shame!
I did this the week before last but had made so much to put in the freezer that last week was pretty much a 'free' week!
Here goes for this week:
Sat Fish & rat pie & Veg
Sun Probably left overs from Sat
Mon Omlette & Wedges
Tue Macaroni Cheese
Wed Veg Chillie & rice
Thurs Salmon, pots & veg
Fri Thai tuna fishcakes, stir fry veg & noodles
Happy planning all!0
