    Hi all :)

I'm stuck on the same boat as you all. I started my course 2 years ago with finance with Anglo Capital which i believe is Advents own finance provider. I have cancelled the direct debit which was due to take another payment on the 4th of Feb but was unsure of what happens next? Do i get my money back? Does my credit agreement with them just end? Has anyone else had finance with Anglo Capital? thanks in advance

I really wouldn't stop paying until we know what's going on, if I were you. I'm certainly not; if the finance ISN'T covered by Sec 75 of the CCA, we *may* still be liable and have to pay it back.

Hi my OH has fnance with anglo-capital. We cancelled our DD on there say so though.

Some one did say that the agreement was not accreditated by the CCA.

I see. And if its not accreditated by the CCA does that mean im !!!!!!ed? i dont really have any clue to my rights on money stuff like loans and such. I think i still have the number for the bloke that sold me the course is it worth calling him? He much have a vague idea of what he is selling and the details of it.
  • I have done exactly the same kirk89 i dont think we are liable to pay the outstanding amount as the company is in administration and we would be paying for a service we are not receiving. I will go get advice tommoroow and keep you informed

TBH I don't know. My OH is lucky (if you can call it lucky) that he's only lost £600. We just want the payments to stop. The guy that 'sold' the course to him wa a sexist !!!!!! who took great pleasure in telling me my place was in the kitchen sp I don't think he'll be for helping us much.
