  • saucy - they will try the classic royal mail at fault you need to wait 28 days etc....

    you dont

escalate it via paypal now they have responded

do not stop the dispute until you have refund or goods. even if they try to blackmail you into close the dispute and I'll refund etc... Once you have closed the dispute you cannot reopen it.

Take confidence in the fact you are 100% in the right. Full stop.

Thank you :) I felt a bit scared and vulnerable then, but I guess that is what the seller wanted.

I'm still working on my photoframe tonight, and I've made a gift box too. Not sure if its sellable, but I might post piccies later if anyones interested in seeing...I'd love to know an unbiased opinion!

Hi saucy, I would love to see it!
    I would too, please :)

I've bought a dresser top on Ebay - locally, and not to sell on - and the seller's not got back to me about when I can pick it up, but I've paid though Paypal - when does anyone think I should be thinking about doing a dispute thingy? After the weekend maybe? I paid for it on Wednesday. Also can I get my money back? :(
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
  • Hmm..have you had no contact from the seller at all?
And yes, don't worry about paypal. You'd definitely get your money back as the seller couldn't prove delivery.

tell me more about the jewellery and candles !!

Someone I know sells candles and I think I may know someone who is looking for jewellery

The jewellery was an order I bought from a wholesaler about 3 years ago - tried to type out descriptions but have deleted now because it sounds like DRIBBLE (lol) and was hard to explain what they look like but can email you some pictures. I bought them wholesale along with different other items at the time and was selling them, covering my purchase costs and donating 10% of the proceeds to a charity. I did it for two reasons, to raise money for charity, and because i've always had that urge to buy and sell!! ;)
Anyway, I sold most but have 32 (or so) left to get rid of, and I was selling them for anything between £8-£15.

Thing is at the time, some people were happy to pay up to £18 for each necklace and others only wanted to pay £5 - so it made me nervous asking for the RRP which was given to me by the Wholesaler.. I still wear some of the pieces that I "bought" myself and still get people commenting on them so personally I think they're a nice style!!

eeerm what else would you like to know :)

Regarding the candles, again this is from the same time period, they're all wrapped up nicely in boxes and again all were bought wholesale different scents, shapes and sizes, some were Colony, some were Temptations, votives, candle sets, incense, gift sets etc. I think I have two full boxes wrapped and sealed in the garage but would have to have a proper look if you wanted more info? :D

You wanna take them off my hands? But I do want to make a little bit of profit on them :o)

Emminently, I know many have already given you good ideas but here's another suggestion... go into Dentists surgeries, Doctors surgeries, anything with a "staff room" and leave some book samples with the staff... with a price list and order form. Ask them to keep them there for a week and if they want to order any, you will pick everything up the following week. Gives them a week to ooh and aah about the glossy pics that their kids would absolutely love, it's in the staff room, so will be kept in good condition and you might get some repeat business if you leave your "business card"

By the way, for the record, I would love the thread to just be called... turn £100 to £10k part 3. would cause less confusion for those still reading part 2 and not wanting to get lost ;) But not too fussed now cause we're already at page 36?! lol and soon we'll be on Part 4. (sorry for my rant yesterday was annoyed and offended by the dribbling comment)

Here's to the £10kers and all the brilliant IDEAS we have, the great motivation and wonderful camaradrie!!

They replied to a question I asked before buying; they haven't replied since I've bought it. Thanks, I'm relieved about getting my money back - should have known I guess but never had problems before! :)
