Emailed paddy power as I hadn't had my bonus (I noticed someone else saying that too) and apparently because I had been playing "side games" I didn't qualify. As far as I was concerned, they were in the bingo section, they were bingo. Anyway, they have spoken to their manager, and as a goodwill gesture if I deposit £30 they will match it. Er.... I don't think so! So beware, any potential paddy power players - all is not as it may appear in their bingo forum. I'm so outta there! (Hope I get my flippin' quidco money or that will have been a total bust!)
You just reminded me I had a paddypower aac a few years ago and definitely had funds in it but no idea what my password or user name is now...any idea how I can get access to my ac or do I just have to accept that the money is gone forever!0 -

Just wanted to add though, our 'drivel' actually did have ideas in it, we were 'driveling' about ideas it seems.
Anyways, DH PASSED HIS EXAM, and as from tomorrow we now offcially are 8.5k a year better off! wahoo! well done him! (does that mean i only have to make a further 1.5k? lol)
Well done, Whitewillow's DH. :T:beer:
Wondering whether to start a crafty blog to link to my Folksy shop. Might have a play with blogger and see what I can do. My one brief foray into blogger ended with much frustration and about 3 entries!
Main business is going ok. Have done a back of fag packet calculation and I think 09-10 tax year is going to finish about £4K turnover down on 08-09, which is a bummer as I still did the staff a pay rise etc. so it's all out of my earnings. Still, at least we are still here, which a lot of small businesses aren't. I don't know whether to count my 8K on top of recession or pre-recession figures. I think I'll start with trying to do 8K on top of 2009 figures, which will take me back to pre-recession figures plus a bit, and if I get any further on then that's cool.
If you are wondering where the 8K comes from I was going to try to do £7990 from my existing business and £2010 (as it's 2010) from ebay, craft fairs, Folksy etc.
Right, going to turn in now as I've had it!0 -
Jeez, will you all keep in one place!!!!
My poor little brain can't cope.
Two threads to keep up with leaves me even more excuses not to get listing on ebay. I really dont need another excuse!:D
PS Huge thanks to Bingo for starting this challenge. It has been a huge motivation for me. I will be following both threads and skimming any chat I can't keep up with0 -

lindseykim - in 3 months time you'll be saying losing the pt job was the best thing that happened to you ! And judging by your signature, you look a hard grafter so I think we could learn a thing or two from you
victoriaplum - welcome ! You have started off fabulously. Great work, Dont know the paddypower answer - can you access customer services without being signed in??
Shall we take bets how many subthreads will exist by December? If we all bet £10, then someone would win £3k !
Only joking
Now onto the important matter of the challenge.... what are you all having for breakfast ??
Serious now.. are we having numbers or a members list? Shall we keep old numbers? If so, what colour font should I use ?
More seriousness needed . what is everyone doing this challenge for ? Great idea Victoriaplum. If someone is feeling low, we can shout 'Think of the extension' or something along those lines :rotfl:VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID

I'm trying to pay off my mortgage asap so that i can move down Cornwall in about 8-9 years time and give up plumbing to work in a little seaside cafe or something laid back like that, and not have to do so many hours so i can spend more time 'chillaxing' and enjoying Cornwall and all my hard work in the previous years!MORTGAGE JAN 2019
