Has anyone any ideas for selling my vinyl LPs. I cou.ld put them on ebay but P&P is a bit difficult. I wondered if there was a site like musicmagpie.
Good to see everyone is doing so well.

I have sent out a lot of vinyl albums for a charity I work for and I have always just used a large padded envelope. My boss likes to put a sheet of cardboard each side but all of mine got good feedback too. For singles I would put some cardboard though.

Sorry, it is really difficult to type with a puppy helping.

The socks and shoes will come back to haunt us ... or make us loads of dosh ... yes Mabel, I could put them up on my website (note to self, charge camera batteries tonight). Good idea. Please do NOT all bombard me with your smelly shoes to sell, I can't leave the windows open in winter  We could consider a commission deal though if anybody wants me to list them ...

Damn- better unpack all the shoes I had packaged up to send to you!! Commission not a bad idea- shame I've only got one old pair of trainers and they don't even smell...yes I did have a sniff to check...the shame!

Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
  • Good luck with it Rictus - nice to see you on here
8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/14
  • Didnt notice the comma Amber - I copied and pasted the official title - oops.

Daisygogo - tutus are a big business. My daughter is 12 and all her friends got tutus for Xmas - coloured ones with multi coloured nets etc... I have details of a fab website I was looking at at Xmas. Have you considered the teenage market ? Local shops were handmaking them and charging £30 - I dont know how much materials are needed - is £30 going to break even or be a profit? Think tutus could be your niche product

cjj - perhaps you could break the large challenge into smaller steps so aim for £100 into £500. Give me a title or two on your DVDSs and I'll have a look. Are they new or second hand?

Nice to hear from you cooltrikerchick - glad all going well

Emmental (that's what I'm calling you now, like it or not!) thanks for the link to all the stuff we need to do for general moneysaving. Gave me a kick up the bum to check out phone recycle sites. Will be getting £40 for my phone with the smashed screen and OH will get £55 for his old one! And i didn't forget Quidco! Coming off the computer and going to cut up these 60s ladies mags with all the fab adverts in them, ready for decoupaging :)
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
