Tutus sound great! Is there anywhere you can buy net in bulk to bring down prices a bit?

Hi Amber... Thinking of your other site ( the dom one) and going back to the conversation of doom (socks) is there a place for a shoe fetish part to it? Could sell shoes old and new?
  • Guys

The title of this threads wrong

    Turn 100,000 into £10,000

that's why we're on MSE to start with!! We've probably done this already and now paying it all back

    :rotfl::rotfl:

LOL. Money put a comma in £100.00. From a Spanish point of view it's correct though, as they use a comma where we use the full stop. Useless fact for today ...

wow, what a lot of posts I've just caught up on and some amazing ideas :) I wish I was creative, I love going to craft fayres and I love the quirky, unusual bits of jewellery you can pick up at them but there is no way I could ever create them. I think the only thing I can make are tutu's which I have made and sold to friends for their little one's in the past but for the volume of net involved they really don't have much of a profit margin and xmas stockings which I've made for my own kids. I think I may have to pull out my sewing machine and have a look at making fabric party bags or bunting, I'm sure they won't be too hard to make.

I must write my dooyoo reviews tonight, my target of 5 a day really is slipping but at least all of my ebay listings have bids apart from 1 ... going to list a couple of extra things tonight, especially as it's approaching payday for a lot of people.

May even relist my shoes that attracted the weird attention ;)

If you can do tutus you should be able to do a few different styles of skirts, just use interesting or unique fabrics and stick them on Folksy :) Tote bags are dead simple too and those pillowcase dresses somebody mentioned a while back.

EDIT: Ooooh I might actually do some of those ideas myself... when i have a sewing machine that works!!
  • Hello everybody.
I've done nothing money saving...well, I bought a notebook for my ideas, and I've got supplies coming tomorrow, but that's it!
Am at the inlaws, so am playing with my website.

Trying hard, I'm glad you made it. All my favourite people are here now! :)

I'm a bit nervous about skirts but I think I may give the pillowcase dresses a go, I've bought some from etsy and they do look really simple ... great idea thanks !! I'm excited now, just wish there were more hours in the day as hubby is feeling a bit neglected but it will be worth it in the end :)

moneymabel - I've never looked into buying my net wholesale, doh !!! how stupid am I ? definitely need to do a bit of research

Thanks for the inspiration guys :T

  • The socks and shoes will come back to haunt us ... or make us loads of dosh ... yes Mabel, I could put them up on my website (note to self, charge camera batteries tonight). Good idea. Please do NOT all bombard me with your smelly shoes to sell, I can't leave the windows open in winter  We could consider a commission deal though if anybody wants me to list them ...

I do really want to join in with this . I have been racking my brains to try and think of ways to make money. I always seem to fail with ebay sales, in past I have bought stuff to put on and ending up losing on it and getting stuck with multiple items. I was thinking of dvds this time, anyone sell these on ebay. I have had a little clear out and most items have sold but for hardly anything. Im just no good at this sort of thing:(
I would be happy if I could turn my £100 into £500:rotfl:
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.
  • Awwww thanks Saucy x

Love your sig does OH know?

Amber - what about doing Ann Summers type of thing - parties or websites? ;)

  • Um....no. Lol. I used to have a thing for Van Der Sar (Man U's goalie) but he's almost double my age and OH used to take the pee really badly. So I'll keep Fabregas a secret, and marry them both!! Lol. I'm sure he wouldn't mind...maybe?

I could introduce people to the rest of Arsenal if anyone's changed their mind about Wenger? :rotfl:
