Personally am not in this challenge. Feeling very low today after an interview rejection. I always come to MSE for postive/motivation.
Glad to see some people doing very well in this challenge.
awww I know the feeling well....
tell ya what, grab a cuppa, put your feet up, have a giggle with the rest of us and begin to feel the inspiration! Every day is a NEW day!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Hi ya everyone !! Good day for me... another £150... i made £500 already !!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I am so pleased with myself... this site has all the motivation that i need !...Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -
oh yes the massage thing i would make some cards up/flyers and drop them into businesses in the area. give the employer the idea of keeping their workers happy etc with a 10min massage. you'd only need 1 business to say yes to get your table money back.0

Has anyone any ideas for selling my vinyl LPs. I could put them on ebay but P&P is a bit difficult. I wondered if there was a site like musicmagpie.
Good to see everyone is doing so well.
depends which ones they are we had to go through completed listings to see how much each one was worth when we sold oh's lps a while ago some were worth £20+ so worth putting on ebay then.0 -

Thats a great idea thanks. Definetely going to look into. Will look into PLI too, get prices etc, haven't had any upto now as I've only been practising on my mum and OH.
I got really good feedback at college from my clients so it had given me a little confidence boost. My auntie has already said she would pay me £10 per masage rather than £30 to some stranger. I know my nana and my uncle pay a fortune for them too.
Cheers guys, think i've found my niche!!0 -

That really made me laugh! She said they're 'sharing', ah the innocence of toddlers :rotfl:
Innocence doesn't last long though!
My little boy reckons they're 'cheers-ing' with Grandad's beer, Guiness. Whenever we go to pubs for lunch or i take him into the club i work at (in the day, when closed obvs :rotfl:) he'll always comment about whether the sell Grandad's beer and has done since he was about 15months old! He shouted at my boss (who he calls 'silly man') about the fact we don't sell it at work once0 -
its great to see why people are taking part in this challenge - the reason i am doing this challenge is to try to save money for a deposit for a house. i was going to put some stuff up on ebay today but had am early morning call to say my OH's grandad passed away so cant really put things on as dont know when the funeral is going to be and will have to travel to Bristol for it.

just found a little book with lots of inspiring quotes, turned to one at random and thought I would share 'Failure is unimportant. It takes courage to make a fool of yourself' which I think means we should take calculated risks because trying is the main thing. And you usually find that the people who have been really succesful in business are the ones who are not scared to take a risk or 10 and if knocked back get up again brush themselves off and carry on.....if you fancy a good read Duncan Bannatynes biography is very good and very inspiring.0

Love it that he calls your boss 'silly man'!
Just had a look over on the grabbits (nothing much there) and they're fighting...again...over whether a buggy folds into three or four pieces! Bless :rotfl:I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0
