Thanks Paula,
it was me

I just wasn't sure because on some sites the part where you can get paid if an article is accepted for a title only applies if you are in U.S and in the uk you just get the small payments for when people look. wasn't sure if this was the same.

Thats funny Paula, our posts crossed
I,d also done some research for you on mirrors and stuff and now my laptop has broken and won't even switch on:mad: so will have to see if i can find the stuff again. not sure how helpful it would have been anyway but you never know.

Hi all,
) Have to share, have just hit 600 mark!! So very excited, thats 6% now!! Considering I just hit 5% not that long ago, maybe less than a week I am impressed lol. Have piles more stuff I have to sort out yet.
But have been busy researching things for markets. Wanting to make easy things that I can make out of cheap materials and thus sell fairly cheaply to ensure that I at least make back my stall costs and if I sell some of the more expensive items then I will make a profit ... have found some LURVLY stuff ... can't wait till the weekend until I can have a go at making some of it
Have also been busy trying to get my writing submissions ready. Not as busy as I should be here though.Bloody hopeless I swear, except I have now cleaned off the top of my desk (it was second hand shop city for last two weeks) and so hopefully that will motivate me a little :rotfl:

know where you are coming from luvvie! Did you get the house you were looking at (in the daydream challenge thread!!!) If I remember it was quite close to me???? Mabel is another north devoner too!! If you need anything just PM!! Oh and your tip about the tin foil??? FAB!!! I shall try that later!..............
Hey Mambury, thanks for the kind words and everyone else's words of encouragement.
We did move, but decided against a place with land. I can't manage the kids and house on their own, so having a big plot would have been another thing I didn't get round to. But we now have a big enough house for the kids to have more space and the garden will allow us to have a small veg patch and maybe some chooks. I had to stop posting on Daydream thread, 'cos our sale got so stressful, two other agencies were trying to put our buyer off, as they had previously valued our property quite low and wanted to sell them the houses on their books instead. But it all turn out right in the end, although there's a lot of work ahead of us to get this place straight, hence my attempt at making a bit of money.
'whispered'.....I've still got my Ebay listing to do! I'm scared of getting a whipping!!!
Edit.....just read the details about Ebay capping postal charges for clothes, must get my finger out I've got bundles!!!!0 -
Oh thank you jo! That's great, I was looking around but had no idea where to start. I think there are quite a few nationalities on Helium, they seem to pay the same rates to everyone
Well done Zoe!!! You're miles ahead of me lol
*Dribble alert!*
I keep having to be sick in a morning, is it possible for two pregnancy tests to be wrong? Eek.

are you near Bradworthy by any chance??? Shame about not going for the house with land but with two sprogs I know exactly where you are coming from!!!!
Well MORNING to you all.... I had a good chat with OH over the weekend and we decided to give things a good go. I think a lot of it is that he works away (ad hoc, I don't know when he will be back and neither does he!) so hes stressed all the time, I have to deal with the house, kids, this challenege and everything else all by myself. We have decided to really make this business work so that he can look for work which is more local. It will mean a drop in salary but if he's about more then that will (hopefully) make life easier for everyone and hopefully the kids should be better behaved (wishfull thinking....).
So today I am going to sort out my house insurance and list more bundles on ebay.
I was also chatting to a friend over the weekend who lives in Wales and we have decided to hae a girly weekend at some point! Just the two of us..... can't wait! It turns out she has just got a job with one of the suppliers I am going to be using.... small world!!!!
Hope everyone has a good day.....
