    awww paula ((((hugs))))
i know what you mean though about always being the one to worry, thats me too.
my OH doesnt even know about the level of debt im in, and moans at me if i dont want to go out spending money!
he, on the other hand, has no debt and an easy job, doesnt help with the baby, has never done a night feed of nappy, and never takes my feelings into consideration.
i feel trapped, by the debt, unhappy, lonely, and just fed up.

thats my main motivation for this challenge really, to rid myself of my debt, hopefully in turn feeling more freedom and less stress, and return to the happy go lucky person i used to be.
but i think my main problem is that i am still acting 'happy go lucky' to everyone else including OH but this debt is suffocating me and no one except my sister knows about it.
dont get me wrong, i am keeping my head above water, but i live month to month, and my nerves are shot by the fact that i dont have any savings to fall back on and it will only take one thing to go wrong for the whole house of cards to come tumbling down....

WOW... this thread is like therapy!

Sorry to put all this on the thread btw lol.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
  • Morning everyone :)
Paula that was really interesting about Helium, thank you anyway! I love writing, I just don't know if I'm actually good enough for anyone to want to read. I hope you are feeling a bit calmer!

Zoe, thats brilliant. Is that just from selling things, or did you get some writing accepted?

I need to go to the post office today, they've got a parcel for me which should help me finish off my projects from yesterday, and I'll get them listed on my site. Might put them on Folksy too. Then I've got another lot of writing to finish and if I get it done fast I'll ask for some more and try to put more away for saving, and I'll try to read some of the £10 a day thread for inspiration. OH has to decide for good on Spain by tomorrow, and let them know.

    I'm feeling motivated :)

Paula - He doesn't sound like he's doing you much good...Could you go somewhere for a few nights to get your head together? You'd get to calm down, then, and think things through. How old are your children, if you don't mind saying? I hope writing it down helped a little and remember we are here for you :)

Glad you're feeling motivated Saucy-good luck with the spain decision!!

Hi Mambury-I dont think I'd want to do more than one or two as a seller..just want to get rid of some of those damn cars lol! but I'd take some junk as well so I wouldnt get chucked out for selling new stuff!
  • Men, eh ... (sorry Wayne). Dribblers, you may talk about whatever you wish on this thread, I the Head Dribbler give you permission to offload when you need.

Thank you mambury, that's good advice, only thing is that he doesn't like the idea of us having separate money as it seems less of a 'couple' then... you can get pregnancy tests on Ebay? I thought they just sold smelly shoes! :)

Oh mimms, know just what you mean, my family ask me how I'm doing for money and I have to lie. It's a constant worry isn't it. Know what you mean about therapy, I've been having a right good cry, probably good for me, I tend to bottle things up like you no doubt do, then it all comes out at once!

    Hi Devon girls!
I will be doing the big afternoon car boot at Bude in the Summer, it's great because you can get set up without the crowds hassling you as they let traders in about 12 and the buyers and 1:30pm. Maybe we can all wear one of Wayne's t-shirts so we can spot each other!!! :rotfl:

i dont know why i bottle things up though???
my sister (who could not keep a lid on her felings if she tried) lets everything out and gets far more help from family ect. i love the bones of her but its all
'oh our *** is having such a bad time at the min, her oh wouldnt mind the kids' ect ect....
and i think, aaaarrrgghh if you knew what was going on in my life you would be shocked!
i think i have got a serious denial problem though, i make out that my OH is the perfect gent and does everything for me, but behind closed doors its a different story
guess i just dont want to admit out loud how much of a pigs ear i have made of things...

but as they say, i am one of lifes copers (a psychic told me that) and i will get through it and cope, no matter what life throws at me.
