Hello all just checking in! im still ploughing on with the challenge although running out of stuff to sell! I wanted to buy items from car boot sales to sell on but Im unsure as to what items would sell... Went to a car boot sale yesterday and only thing i came back with was some brand new Soap & Glory sets which I would like to keep for myself but I suppose I should sell them on ebay!!

does anyone have any experience of buying from boot sales to sell on? if so what sort of things do you look out for? Is it mainly ornamental things that sell well?

Thanks for your help in advance!

i dont know why i bottle things up though???
my sister (who could not keep a lid on her felings if she tried) lets everything out and gets far more help from family ect. i love the bones of her but its all
'oh our *** is having such a bad time at the min, her oh wouldnt mind the kids' ect ect....
and i think, aaaarrrgghh if you knew what was going on in my life you would be shocked!
i think i have got a serious denial problem though, i make out that my OH is the perfect gent and does everything for me, but behind closed doors its a different story
guess i just dont want to admit out loud how much of a pigs ear i have made of things...

but as they say, i am one of lifes copers (a psychic told me that) and i will get through it and cope, no matter what life throws at me.

Mimms, I am and was exactly like this in my last relationship. Made out that everything was ok etc and just pushed it to the back of my mind. When we finally split (I ended up in A&E on Boxing day 2008) I then spent the first 6-8 months blaming myself for everything, his affairs and my personality change etc. I have lost nearly everything and truth be told I may not have a lot but overall I am happier within myself than I have been for a long time. I have learned a lot about myself and although at times I still struggle with the do I go back thing, I know in my heart he is bad for me.

I am a survivor and just when I think I dont have any strength left out of the blue I find more. Life is to short and certainly to short to wonder what if.

I have found that people on this thread are positively brilliant and I cound so many of them nearly like family. I am amazed by the real friendships that are forming and the genuine support of each of you.

oh dear, I am dribbling on now...sorry.....just sometimes the words and the feelings do have to be shared. A huge thank you to all of you that have really been there for me the past couple of weeks

  • Oh dear, and I thought I had Men issues... **Hugs** to all those with OH issues.

I've done nothing productive so far today and I've been very bad and bought 2 pairs of shoes, a new dress & a few tops BEFORE the rest of my bills have come out my account AND I'm so going out tonight even though I'm pretty sure they'll be more men issues :rotfl:

I think we shall call this 'A Day Off' :)

aww thank you, but now it is my time to shine and go after what I really want out of life. I have spent most of my life doing what everyone around me wants me to do or thinks I should do. I have a lot of things to sort but onwards and upwards as they say. Life goes on and I will achieve what I want in one way or another. I really do believe there is nothing in life we cant have, it just depends on if we want it bad enough and are prepared to fight to achieve it.

thanks for all your kinds words, thanks munchki!

i do truly believe that everything happens for a reason though, and if i hadnt had to struggle and go through what i have been through then i wouldnt be the determined person i am today.

im sure everything will be alright in the end (for all of us)

onwards and upwards we shall go!
