Ooh Nixi, just seen your comment on my blog - thank you! That makes it an official start!

That's the only thing I can cross off my commitment list though - house is still a tip, nothing new listed on ebay and loft is still piled high with forgotten treasures! Oh well, small steps :o

I had just decided that tomorrow after work was cleaning night, but I've just been invited out, so cleaning is out of the window. Oh well, I have a long and luxurious weekend free so it will have to get done then instead

nixinixi - do share how you've listed your shoes, the questions you've received are so funny :rotfl: I am wondering where I went wrong when I listed mine, I got questions asking me to do bad things in them ?!! However if there's a market for quick cash out of trashed shoes I may well get over my nervous giggles as mentioned over on the original post

Commitment update - more things listed on ebay plus have sold dd's pushchair, etc but still need to get my finger out with dooyoo. Feel loads better for decluttering

Really glad I didn't get your questions ! You have seen all mine on here!!

I can direct you to my listings...would that help? Guess I would need to pm you as pretty sure not allowed to post the links on here. I haven't sold any yet.....

I am only getting questions about one of the pairs also put on 2 pairs of ankle boots and a pair of my husbands slippers which he has never liked wearing so are actually in really good condition!

So far one pair of boots has one watcher and the slippers have 7! No bids at all. They all finish on Sunday evening. I wil PM you the link to my shoes...let me know what you think.

It does feel wrong to be doing it, but I would only throw them away otherwise so I thought why not!

oo - you have reminded me I have a couple of pushchairs to sell too!!

Yipee, I finally managed to get something done :-)

    3 mobiles on Ebay.

Can't believe I actually managed to do something. Let's hope I can keep it up now.

    Well done to everyone else.

  • Well I went round a couple of charity shops (again) today. It really amazes me how they manage to actually sell anything - some of the prices are ridiculous! £2.99 for a CD single! £7.99 for a hardback book. I did manage to pick up a subbuteo game though, in not bad condition. They seem to go quite well on ebay - although the box is HUGE and quite fragile...will be a bit wary about posting it (if it sells!).

Don't know if anyone else has had better luck in the charity shops - but Oxfam especially were selling things in pretty battered condition that would cost less new!

  • I'm doing Dooyoo....I'm really struggling to stay motivated. A quick glance at Expedia shows £3,000 being average for a hotel and two flights to Seville in March...That's only 6000 reviews?! Lol I might need a new plan.

  • I can't find Sevilla at all on Thomas Cook, only on Expedia...We can do the end of March or the start of April, but OH only gets a month off, so not when its properly quietened down.

I'm quite excited in that tomorrow I get some of my parcels, and Saturday I get the rest. It's been quite a stagnant week in that I haven't had any supplies, despite paying for special delivery, so I'm looking forward to getting back on track!

Excellent - we'll have a network of blogs before we've done! If we can work out how to do it that is :p
