    Oh wow, that is amazing!!

Definately set that up. Tonight!! You'll make a fortune.

My poor dog had an ear missing (he's a cavalier king charles so it was hard to miss!) and was the wrong colour, and it was no where near as good as that.

    Thank you so much Saucy.:o

I've just no idea where to start?? Leaflets, a website, cards???

Webs.com allow you to set up a free website, you should be able to have a good start in under an hour. Then vista print have free business cards at the moment, you just pay P&P, if there are vets near you ask if you could leave a pile then. I'm happy to pass a link around my pet loving friends once you've got a site and I'm sure others here will too!

Edit, Sorry I sounded so bossy! :o

No you didn't sound bossy at all. THIS is entirely my problem, lots of ideas but never get off my bum and DO anything. You are so right.

I can't do anything at the mo as I am (suposed to be right now) working on some invitations for my Mum for a party. But come Monday, I shall report back here and GET CRACKING! Thanks so much for your input, you have helped so much.

Yay! I'm glad I helped. I'm looking forward to seeing it, it might be about time we had a better picture done of puppy, lol. He quite likes having two ears! If you get stuck, there's me and plenty of others on here with a webs site, and we can help you set up and promote a business blog once you've got a website too.

You are such an amazing artist, I'm so jealous!

Edit - I'm off to watch TV with OH, have a nice night everyone!!

Well I went round a couple of charity shops (again) today. It really amazes me how they manage to actually sell anything - some of the prices are ridiculous! £2.99 for a CD single! £7.99 for a hardback book. I did manage to pick up a subbuteo game though, in not bad condition. They seem to go quite well on ebay - although the box is HUGE and quite fragile...will be a bit wary about posting it (if it sells!).

Don't know if anyone else has had better luck in the charity shops - but Oxfam especially were selling things in pretty battered condition that would cost less new!

Know just what you mean, most of our charity shops are ridiculously pricy but there is just one (tatty, smelly, disorganised) that's like they used to be and the lovely assistants will give usually say 'oh go on, you can have that' about a small item or book. The people who go in there don't seem to be on the hunt for bargains, they seem genuinely to need things at cheap prices - there were a couple of young women in there with what I thinnk were Eastern European acents and they both badly needed a wash, bless em. So that's where i've been looking for things but I'm fairly convinced someone will take over and 'improve' it at some point lol!

Reading about the blogs makes me want to do one but I'm not sure what about...:o
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Well done nixinixi! You gave me just as much encouragement. Can we link blogs somehow? I actually took the plunge and did my first blog last night! It's a very strange feeling - other than posting on a forum or two I've never let anything I've written out in the big wide world before

    Following you :)

I felt the same lol....very strange opening yourself up to the world! I have just read yours...trying to think of a witty comment, especially as it is your first! Failing miserably at the moment. Lovely first post though.....great introduction to you and your love of cats! If you figure out how to have a link tell me.....:j Think I may just put what I have written above as my comment, to tired for witty tonight! (sorry!)

Yukkibear - I have just looked at your blog and had a read....love it, its really good. And your review was well worth the vouchers!! BUT I have realised that I have managed to unwittingly copy your template choice. Please tell me if you want me to change my template and I will. I wasn't trying to copy you...we just obviously both have good taste!! Seriously i will willingly choose another one just PM me.

Thanks :) I'm following your blog btw. Nope don't worry about design, I'm not bothered if it's the same.
  • thank you for everyones view on the books, i dont think im going to go for it at the moment, mainly because theres a lot going on around me. ended up taking my grandad A&E last night (which is why i didnt reply), hes been in out out of hospital the past few weeks. :(
  • Where is everyone creating their blogs?

I have one on blogger - but that is linked to a new event that I am organising fingers crossed. And the second one that I have is a wordpress one, but that is template driven and hosted on a webserver. I am still tweaking both blogs and websites so I will add a link to my profile once I have finished.
