lol absolutely nothing, everything that landed on the doormat was something I'd ordered for everyone else. I must have been on Santa's naughty list ;)
oh bless! Make sure you send your list off this year eh :)

It was from the massive Selfridge's in Brum...if you aren't close I'll be going back next week and could get you one? I don't mind, I'd love to receive a volcano in the post, lol.

Thank you for the offer, really kind. I'm not to far from Brum, but never seem to really go there.

How much were they? How big? Is it an ornament or a light? Is it wrong to beexcited by the thought of a volcano which lights up!!? :rotfl:

MAMBURY- I bought that same light box kit ( first one) and it was useless for jewellery seemed to cause more reflections. At the moment all I'm using is a white cloth to cover the table and am putting the jewellery on pebbles to cut down on reflections. Then I use Photoshop to tweak the brightness etc. It's not fantastic but I can't afford to spend on cameras/lights /photographers.

Its...half the size of the penguin its stood next too? Lol I'll go measure it in a second. It's...suitable for kids, according to the box. Its got a red light, and a volcano inside which spits up little red things so it looks like it's erupting. I love it. I'm going to get another one, so if you PM me your address, I'll post you one. You are only down the road so it won't cost much! It'll be my good dead, lol.

OH has until Tuesday to decide whether we are going...

    £1000 bingo - congrats

ME - Have been run down y/day and today so gave in, took painkillers, VERY hot bath and soaked with Radox bubbles for at least 30 mins n kept cat nipping, had food as soon as out of bath, played free bingo n won £6 (OH played slots on 2 sites and is now £130 in profit from it) and have just spent the last two hours watching the Soaps curled up under duvet on the sofa with NO (yes NO) cats ... miracles do happen that I get complete peace !!!

I have done some stuff today - posted 3 ebay parcels in 2 trips, used the change machine in HSBC (what a cool dudey machine!) and thought about re-doing all p+p prices for ebay but I was TOLD that under no circumstances was I to do anything to do with ebay today

ooo - sounds like my boy would love it...he has had a fascination for volcanos for soooo long! Am sooooo tempted. How much?

I do hope IF you move to Spain you will stay in touch, and part of this thread!!

And you made me laugh out loud at 'half the size of the penguin'....classic:j

  • Can you give a link for the volcano - I have a birthday present for a 6 year old to get and this sounds perfect!.... Maybe one of us needs to set up shop :D

Good luck to everyone's hopes and dreams - this thread is brilliant! I've sold a few bits on ebay - a bit of a learning curve on the fees etc., but think I'm getting the hang of it (where's the *rolls eyes* smily when you need it).
  • It's supposed to be a tenner but I've got a discount card which makes it £4.50...I'm happy to buy it as a present for your son though? Getting a volcano in the post would be the coolest thing ever. It really is amazingly cool, and I dropped it and it didn't break! (Not on purpose, I'm just really clumsy tonight, lol). Sned me your address.

Cally - Hope you feel better soon :( I hate being ill, I go mad with boredom.

Of course I will stay on the thread, you can't get rid of me that easily, and it's like a big family :) I look forward to boring you all, lol. And I feel welcome :)
