Burdastyle might have a video tutorial, Google Burdastyle or else 'hemming video tutorial' and you should come up with something, I don't know myself how to stop stitches showing, need to learn!
Thank you - I've not heard of that site before!!
My little boy isn't too bad ...but he has really nasty 'deep' cough which isn't going away, and today he is a bit snotty to, and my little girl is full of a nasty cold, caught it before really gettig rid of the last so decided enough is enough, I will keep them at home and give them a chance to get better! Also give me a chance to lol!Life is a work in progress0 -
OK so 4 hours later I’m halfway through running my virus scan (thanks for the avast recommendation!) and my bf comes homes and says, “oh a virus, I can fix it for you” so we swap machines. And 40 mins later, he’s got rid of the virus pop up message (yay!) BUT I can’t open ANY of my programs! And he’s supposed to be the IT expert...
SaucySecrets – its me with the jumper dresses, coming in next week but I’ve reserved most for friends, and will keep 1 of each for myself (a bit of self promotion doesn’t hurt!!) so will have to place a new order, but it being Chinese new year next week, all the office and factories shut for 2 weeks! I’ll place a bigger order next time, I only ordered 2 of each, I want to check the quality of them first!0 -
Listed 2 items on eBay. Can't be bothered to do anymore just now.
Going to be really gross and eat some condensed milk straight from the can :j0 -
deq123 - was contemplating doing half kids clothes as other than Mothecare, there isn't really anywhere here for that either! rents i don't think will be that much here as you can buy a 3 bed house for £55,000, this if def not a high demand area as there aren't really any jobs to be had.
nixinixi- thanks, a poll would be good, but not long lived here so don't know anyone in the area to ask. Online is a good idea to test the water with, although I wouldn't have a clue how to go about getting the traffic onto it.

There was no money in it though, and lots of effort. You also need an up to date baby first aid certificate, and a training certificate in Signing...if anyones interested I'm happy to talk to them about marketing and stuff though? I had full classes, maybe a better business person could have made that into profit.
I am so bored tonight!!
Edit - Not to be negative...I'm sure it works for a lot of people! I just think it's worth looking into possible interest and prices first, to make sure no one loses money!
Have you tried your local further ed college? I work in one and we have plenty of hearing impaired students who need signers in their lessons and generally around college. Our department (Learning Support) employs around 6 part-timers - money's not great - about £7.95+ an hour I think.0 -

To add - my cousin has downs syndrome and signing was taught to him as he didn't talk for nearly 5 years, apparently that is normal/common. My aunt paid for special lessons in signing to help him communicate. If anyone was thinking of teaching sign, that is one way to advertise it, local NHS and specialist therapists recommended it to her and it really helped. You could try the same advertising strategy? Its not as daunting as it sounds, it was basically teaching my aunt to sign and her practising with my cousin, one on one sessions at tutors or my aunts house.turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
