Hi all, have been thinking today how I can make my website better- do any of you who have seen it already ( or want to have a nose- click on my username ) reckon I should somehow expand it to do everyday jewellery? I think it's a good idea but not sure how to go about it. It's a wedding jewellery site and has that in the title but I don't want to have another seperate site. You have all been so helpful with the blog ideas so am picking your collective brains again !!

It's difficult because of the name of your site, but perhaps add some sections in for "everyday" jewellery for birthday gifts etc. A section on the home page that describes this. Not sure, everything I think of writing makes it sound cheap against the wedding range and that's not what I mean or how you want it to come across.

Oh just thought how about using a MISI, FOLKSY or ETSY shop for everyday jewellery? Then you can link from your site to the shop and this would keep them separate but yet without paying for extra hosting etc.

    Sorry

Sorry for been thick, so if i deposit £10, i get £10 free, then every day for 30 days i get a free £5 to use on bingo, but you can wd any money till its at least £20?
Thanks, i just didnt want to !!!! up thats all:D:o

    Hi

    You deposit £10.

You will then receive £10 "bonus money" ("bonus money" can only be used on bingo) - however, you need to use your cash deposit first before this "bonus money" is yours.

Then each day, you get £5 "bonus money" to spend on bingo.

Careful that if you win cash, then play bingo again, they use your cash first. Your best thing is to pre-purchase the tickets.

I suppose there is the chance that you could lose your initial £10 if you don't win anything on the bingo.

Hope I've explained this ok, and not confused you more !

That is correct, if you read the T&C it is all explained in there. It is a good offer, you just have to play the bonus every day as you can not wait til you have 20 in bonus and WD that

Was really hoping to start February at full steam, but still not fully well:( so am taking it slowly.
I did manage to list 49 things on ebay today and a couple have bids already.
My total for January is £1064.94. I've only just totaled it and had to treble check it, I was convinced I'd added it up wrong. I knew I was doing ok but my motivation was starting to wane but looking at that figure has made me feel maybe it's all possible.
I'm trying to catch up on the thread now to see how everyone else is doing.
Good to see you back Sparky:A
Hope everyone is doing ok and bigs hugs to anyone struggling or having a hard time:grouphug:

I don't dare look at your website again, I want to buy things and that's bad (well bad for me, good for you ;)) I might have to treat myself once i've reached a certain milestone in this challenge, say £2k, oooh it's seems so far away!!

I showed your site to my friend the other day and it turns out shes got a secret hankering to make jewellery and reckons I should do it too. Apperently she has the knowledge (works in jewellery retail) and i can make things (her=brains, me=brawn... I always saw myself as brains :o) She's got another thing coming if she things I could ever make anything as gorgeous as your stuff :rotfl:

She got as far as researching wholesale supplies and chickened out before; I randomly bought some silver findings?/Clasps/earring bits of eBay about a year ago that are still untouched, we may never get round to doing anything :rotfl:

So when i first deposit £10 then, im best to like you say pre buy £10 worth of tickets so if i win i dont end up using my own money again.

I spent a couple of hours last night and loads of time today (whilst at work ) and I think I have an information overload on how to set up a blog. I even dreamt about registering a domain, and I don't even know how to do it!

So, could anyone tell me: -
    - should I self host or use external hosting, and how?
    - do I need my own domain name or is that unnecessary
    - if it's necessary, how do I do it?
    - I've been advised to use Blogspot, Wordpress and Posterous today by different people, would you agree with any of these?
    - if I decided in the future to sell things related to my blog, can I do that or would I have to set up something different?

Sorry for my complete ignorance here - ask me about a telephone system or cat5 cabling and I'm well and truly in my comfort zone, ask me anything web related and I'm lost!!
