My problem is life gets in the way ! Like now, the floor in the conservatory is covered with paperwork, the dining room table is covered and the lounge is covered. I have empty filing cabinets and some plastic boxes so I am going through it all methodically, throwing stuff away, filing some, some need an action. BUT I have a newborn, I have to get DD3 in 20 mins, she'll need lunch and some company before I feel able to stick her in front of Charlie and Lola DVD. Then I have school run at 3.30 then another at 4.30. Then cook dinner. Then I'll be helping kids with homework and talking about their day. Then some Eastenders together. Then bedtime routines. Then I'll be too tired to do anything or the baby will want feeding and everything just get thrown in a box or pushed to one side and something else comes up tomorrow.
I need to do it slowly I guess over a fortnight period. Excuses excuses - terrible really. My fault for letting it build up. Never again will I say, I'll do that later.... cos IT NEVER GETS DONE !!
oooh, just had a thought. There was a programme some time ago where people set up a business decluttering peoples homes. They did really well with it. No expensive set up or equipment needed.
Anyone fancy doing mine - I'd pay a fortune !!!
When would you like me to start???? With 40+ moves under my belt and having just downsized from a 3 bed edwardian house down to literally a few boxes think I can handle just about anything now??? yes, I am serious!! LOL
And now I think I am going to seriously consider something like that, could be a good idea!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -

LOL Mabel - in my experience, when your instincts tell you not to do something, they are invariably right.0 -

I was going to tax the car but cant find the reminder slip or the log book  Only had both about 10 days ago so cant for the life of me work out where it is - have any of you seen it ????
I was going to complete CB forms, but I cant find these either
I think my aim for February should be filing
Pants - all motivated but cant find anything
If you do car tax online I am pretty sure you don't need the reference number you can do it off reg and make etc...I am sure I have done it this way before.
Carried on reading and found that you had already found the paperwork and odne it by the time I had posted!!! I think you need to set realistic small goals for eaach day, and if you do more than fantastic....you have so much to do otherwise just looking after children and a newborn too! Don't put yourself under too much pressure..... and on top of all that you take on this thread....your name should be Superwoman!Life is a work in progress0 -
I use a anti virus called Avast and can highly reccommend it!! Have you tried it at all? Only a suggestion of course
It 1st popped up on sunday, and have a recommended anti virus thing to buy, but the page looked a bit dodgy so I bought a Norton one, it was 25% off plus an additional 25% from quidco, it ran over night and found 20 problems which it then fixed but I'm still getting the virus message popping up.
I dont know what to try next :-(0 -
Mambury, glad you like the logo and we will figure out why ebay is being stupid about it lol....watch this space!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0

Avast is free and well worth it, as it will also on the first time around scan the resident memory where most scans do not touch and where quite possibly the virus may be.I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -

Funnily enough, I always fancied doing that - never had the nerve to pursue it though.0
