haha this made me rofl! I can so relate to it!!
MMTWGR could you please add me to first post as:- artist, who wants to make a living out of it.
I've been filling in a spreadsheet (thanks Turia) to work out my figures and realised I'd forgotten to take off the amount I'd used to purchase stock so my total for January has gone down to £225.99but on the plus side I do have £180.55 worth of stock to re-invest when the market is right.
Right must go back to my shedio and get drawing (my little piddly back-to-back terraced house is so full: 2 teenagers, one OH, one FIL, two mastiffs and a cat: that the only place I can find to do my work is a potting shed in the back yard and it's not grand enough to be a studio, so it's a shedio)Turn £100 into £10,000 in 2010 member # 247

January Totals...a bit late...but
My Jan total is £479, this doesn’t include the £147 slot machine winnings which is on hold in my bingo accounts. Its £90 from quidco and the rest is from eBay. I’ve reinvested £250 into stock for eBay so at the end of Jan I currently have £229 sitting in my account.
Thanks to everyone for being so supportive of each over, hoping for an even better Feb!0 -

ohhh, I am having a beat yourself up day. Not productive and not motivating.
Applied for CB, taken to post office and sent recorded delivery. Instead of being happy, I am now kicking myself that I didnt do it sooner - it took 5 mins. Pure laziness and procrastination.
Just taxed car. Now I am peed off. I spent a solid 2 months looking for a 1.5 or below car with 6 seats so it would be cheaper tax. I found 2 cars, one cheaper than the other but with a bigger engine. I decided to buy the more expensive one as cheap tax. Its an 03 plate - I normally drive K or L reg cars - so I didnt realise the new rules about emissions so it was £175 for the year, instead of the £120 I was expecting. So I could have bought the 1.6 and saved some money and still paid the same tax - in fact it might even have been cheaper depending on the emissions !!!!! SO now I am kicking myself that I didnt research that side more.
Maybe I should just embrace this mentality today and do all the horrid things I have put off - like unopened bills, tax stuff, working out how much I have spent etc. Then I can give myself a real virtual kicking and have a better day tomorrow.

HI Guys
I’ve got a virus on my laptop which i just cant seem to get rid off! Its so frustrating as I can’t do any online banking, I need to provide proof of address and photo ID to a bingo company as my account was flagged as fraudulent but I can’t do that as its too risky with the virus.
Anyways my weekly commitments:
1 – Get rid of that pesky virus!!
2 – Start building my affiliate site, I’ve got a program which I need to install and set up, but its a bit fiddly
3 – Put the rest of my things on eBay, I have a sackful of old clothes!
4 – Do matched betting once a week (after the virus has gone).0 -

MMTWGR - I used to be exactly like you but my new years resolution last year was to not put things off and I have stuck to it and feel so much better now. I love that feeling when you can cross something off a list! My house and paperwork are now a lot tidier and more organised and I can fit more in my day. It's just starting in the first place that is hard, but it sounds like you have done that today so just keep going :TMum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

thanks natnat13
My problem is life gets in the way ! Like now, the floor in the conservatory is covered with paperwork, the dining room table is covered and the lounge is covered. I have empty filing cabinets and some plastic boxes so I am going through it all methodically, throwing stuff away, filing some, some need an action. BUT I have a newborn, I have to get DD3 in 20 mins, she'll need lunch and some company before I feel able to stick her in front of Charlie and Lola DVD. Then I have school run at 3.30 then another at 4.30. Then cook dinner. Then I'll be helping kids with homework and talking about their day. Then some Eastenders together. Then bedtime routines. Then I'll be too tired to do anything or the baby will want feeding and everything just get thrown in a box or pushed to one side and something else comes up tomorrow.
I need to do it slowly I guess over a fortnight period. Excuses excuses - terrible really. My fault for letting it build up. Never again will I say, I'll do that later.... cos IT NEVER GETS DONE !!
oooh, just had a thought. There was a programme some time ago where people set up a business decluttering peoples homes. They did really well with it. No expensive set up or equipment needed.
Anyone fancy doing mine - I'd pay a fortune !!!VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID

MMTWGR. Have some tips but no time to write them now. But with regards to the car think kindly of it its serving you well and if you had bought the other one it might have broken down after a week costing you more than any saving you would have made. This is the path you took and it is fine after all you found this thread and now have more money than you would have had anyway. The only time you can change anything is now and you are doing that bit by bit.
