skintbint that is a genius suggestion

Saucy - I had an image in my head of wanting something different so i trawelled websites and wedding fairs until I found little scrolls on handmade paper. I like different. the clipart effect of the two weddingrings or the champagne glasses just isn't my thing

saucy - I struggled to find the wedding invites we wanted, I wanted something incorporating butterflies as I had those in my bouquet and I finally decided on a hand held fan with the invite printed on and then I bought some fabric butterflies which I attached to the handle. Totally loved them

We received a wedding invite last year which I loved, it was very much like something you would find in Alice in Wonderland and reminded me of posh 'luggage labels', they were very unusual and I think hand made

is it possible to deliver stock to the shop on a saturday when its a bit busier and gush how lovely the brides are and you have just the thing etc etc! brand new in stock?

That could work but going by my experience of wedding shops they usually work by appointments and wouldn't appreciate you just turning up. Not so bad if it's a non appointment day. Don't think I'm dismissing your idea just going by what I've experienced. Looks like you've been given a weeks schedule Lilac Pixie- better get to it!!
Hmmmm what am I gonna do this week... Should update the blog on my site but like Lilac I never know what to write about :-/

well done on your total Yukki- that's brill!!!

I'd imagine people sort the dress first, then go home and lick their wounds having spent a small fortune. Then when they have recovered from that outlay they would do the accessorising? So maybe hitting them with tiaras at the same time as the dress might not be the only approach to take?

So working on the principle that they think accessories after the dress, I'd be inclined to have cards in florists. Could you design a tiara that could have fresh flowers inserted somehow, so that the florist can get a sale too?

Anyway, been playing with more ink and glue tonight and have got one or two things that I'm pretty happy with. I think I'll need to spend on some more ink though, as I'm going through it like it's going out of fashion!
  • What kind of ink do you need? I've got quite a few I don't use, if it'd be useful, I guess it depends what you need it for though?

I'm trying to design unique wedding stationary, not the typical stuff that is everywhere. I think it's going well. I hope so, at least! I've got some fairytale themed stuff, but the rest is elegant, but not plain. Photoframes didn't dry as fast as I'd hoped, so I didn't get chance to photograph them, but I like my new website front page...did delete all backgrounds and replace them, but OH put them back :S

Anything I can help anyone with? I'm in a thoughtful mood...
