If this isn't a productive thread on an open forum - then I'd be damn well interested to see which one is!!
I'm quoting myself - how quaint..?!!!
Writing that out has given me an idea, would it be useful if we put our names to that list above and made a copy on the First post?
So I would go next to "Accountants" so can help with numbers, spreadsheets (as an example)
We are all gonna be here for the next 12 months and we already are using each others skills, so lets formalise it ? Or would that put too much pressure on people to answer requests etc?

(I also used to do digital photo restoration, but it wasn't viable)
That's a bummer nixi. I have been thinking about trying to get some work from the general public restoring photos (scanning, fixing, getting a new print). I've done a few for friends and family and people are always impressed.
My Mum informed me there is a geneology centre near by and siad I should get leaflets or a card or something to put in there for all those people with old photos they want restored.
What stopped it being viable for you?0 -
I don't know, I turn my back for a few days and the world becomes all divided
. I just wanted to say thank you for all the supportive messages that people left for me last week when I was a little all over the place ... it really meant more to me than you will ever know. I sadly lost my brother suddenly in a tragic accident the day after he left the comment in my signature. Life truly is for living and as I truly believe that the connections that we make in life are what ultimately define us, it is likely that any idea or insight I may be able to share will likely find their way into this chatty thread. So sorry for your loss sparky. (((((big hugs))))0 -
Hi all
) Just took the plunge and joined the facebook group lol ... was SOOO funny to see all the pics ... no particular reason, but its so impersonal here ...
Anyway, am going to come back in an hour or two and update for the month my total so far, still hoping it might magically edge up a few cents hehe ...
I have to go back to work tomorrow, am a teacher if you have missed that, and its first day of the new year in NZ tomorrow ... sigh ... going to be a mission keeping up with my son, working fulltime, gym, this etc but I know you guys will kick my butt or whip me if I don't keep up lol
Oh and as this is chat board... made 16 wholegrain rolls, double recipe of weetbix choc slice from OS board, double batch choc chip cookies AND gingernuts, just to full freezer so I have more time during the week to focus on important things ... like this challenge hehe ...

What a beautiful, thoughtful quote from your brother Eyesparky. So very sorry to hear about your tragic news, you must still be in shock.

Amber you are doing great!! As for the dreaded ebay.... have a look a this
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=tarot+reading+&_cqr=true&_nkwusc=tarot+rading&_rdc=1
you might not be getting th full amount for your readings but ebay is a very useful tool for marketing. I guess with the tarot reading you would end up building a list of regulars? If so I reckon Facebook and ebay are a good cheap way to get started on some advertising. Look in the back of english trashy mags (the celeb obssesed ones, not the boobies out for the lads type!!) as there are a lot of adverts in there for tarot, phsycic reading etc..... might be a btit expensive at the moment but long term plans and all that!!
Going to grow some plants (hopefully, not that green fingered!) to sell at boot sales in the Summer, was thinking tomatoes, any other ideas? I don't have a greenhouse so they will be in the utility to start then outside if the sun shines!
As for the nattering housewife comments, we'll see who's laughing at the end of the year won't we?!!!!!
Natnat the nattering housewife!! LOL!!!
Okay, plants.... you don't really need a greenhouse but I would get/build a coldframe for growing the plants on a bit.... Easy to build, all you need to make is a box with no top and no bottom, put it on the patio with some gravel in the bottom to help drainage and to help stop slugs and snails! Once you have the box, all you need then is a lid of glass, old double glazed units/shower doors etc work well. Have a look at the link, might help to give you some ideas. Remember it doesn't have to be psoh, just work!!!

As for plants, I am going to do the same. So far my list is toms, peas, beans (broad, runner. french), radish, some trays and hanging baskets (ta to whoever mentioned this ages ago!!) of cut and come again salad, I'm also keeping an eye out for strawberry offers (sometimes see free ones dotted about) buy them as plugs and grow them on a bit..... It might be worth looking at some of the nursey/seeds sites like T&M and Suttons as they sometimes do offers on small bedding plants/plugs that you could grow on a little bit and sell for a bit more profit. One thing to keep an eye on are the supermarket prices, I am going to price under this to hopefully get rid of them all..... I am growing for myself anyway so I shall just sow some extra seeds and bobs your uncle, free veg!
I hope that helps!
I am off to the big town (watch out mabel, here I come!) to buy new shoes for the sprogs this morning, hopefully I might find something in Clarks (they both have very skinny feet!) and then I shall have a rummage in the loft.
I will have a go at the Psycho wall this afternoon, have a sleep and look at it again tomorrow when the kids are at school.
Have a good day everyone.

Well I completed my psychotic wall
, it really helped.
I also did my tree and branches, and now have a list of 24 actions that need to take place before the end of February, ready to market my business in March.
Amber, I was checking out the completed listings on Mambury's post. There is one BIN at £18.98, for a phone reading, with a picture of the reader, who looks very approachable. You could upload your website picture and be on ebay by tea time. You know you want to do it .......................I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.
