Also he was saying that if you want to make your own mould to reuse then you could make something from, say, Fimo or Sculpy, and use liquid latex (I think!) to make your own mould :) Anyway if that's useless to you hopefully it'll help someone else :o

    :rotfl:

And if the liquid latex doesn't work then it will fit in well with the dominatrix theme  Very mse.

I know, I thought that as I wrote it! And as I clicked 'quote' your little chocolate-eating bloke froze in mid-air looking really quite scary :rotfl:

Further to the 'want it now' post (how formal!) I've just had a look on there and someone wants lots of Lego minifigures, if anyone's looking to get rid of some...Cally? Or have you got rid of all yours now? :)

I haven't really got a niche as yet - keep thinking I've found something and then stalling when I realise there's so much research to do and I have so little time. But I've given myself a good talking to - this is not necessarily a short term project, I've decided to look at it long term. It might take me 6 months to get to the point where I can take a big step but I'm going to do it little step by little step. By the end of this year, I might not have made my first £10,000 but I'm determined to be in a position to start making it.

I'm just going to chill out about it and hope that the ideas washing through this thread push me in the right direction.

This post would probably infuriate Bing0 !!

dont think many of us have found a niche yet but just dabbling in different directions and making some money along the way -for me that will probably be the way the whole year goes! but for others it may lead to a fulltime career who knows (amber get the cards out! ) i think we are all just finding or feet (feet again -dont think i'll be selling socks though) but if i was a couple of hundred short who knows!

well away to my bed absolutely shattered think i'll have a wander round the bootsales tomorrow as ages since i've been to one and see whats there, o/h has overtime tomorrow night so that'll ber another bundle in the pot when he gets paid - #doing it as a family# but so far o/h contribution is very limited!!

  • If you saw someone doing something that they were utterly rubbish at, would you tell them?
I'm questioning everything. I'd had such a good day today, too!

Made a photoframe and decorated it with loads of buttons, covering all of the outside. I love it, I've got a picture of my OH and dog in it :)

I don't know, I turn my back for a few days and the world becomes all divided ;). I just wanted to say thank you for all the supportive messages that people left for me last week when I was a little all over the place ... it really meant more to me than you will ever know. I sadly lost my brother suddenly in a tragic accident the day after he left the comment in my signature. Life truly is for living and as I truly believe that the connections that we make in life are what ultimately define us, it is likely that any idea or insight I may be able to share will likely find their way into this chatty thread. Keep up the stunning work everyone :).

I am pretty sure that I would not tell someone they were rubbish lol, a bit too negative and after all everyone has to start from someplace and that is generally the beginning. I call it a learning curve. I would however probably offer thoughts, feedback, bounce ideas back and forth etc. afterall isn't that how we all learn. none of us are born experts at anything and all things take practice and patience and guidance.

ok, so lets see this frame lol!!
