OOhh I love the cat blog idea...are you allowed to photograph the cats you foster? You could sell the photos, a lot of my friends collect pictures of cats and are always looking for 'natural' ones that are not all the same pose.
You could make cat themed models or jewellery and sell too, and blog on the site to increase traffic.
    Just an idea...I'll keep thinking.
(Anything to distract me from mine right now, the wind has been taken right out of my sails :( )

    awww what's happened saucy???

Shel06 - glad you found us.
Sounds like you are off the starters blocks already. Good luck and looking forward to hearing more.
    Face book idea is great.

  • Umm...I'll go look for it? Lol. Sorry, I'm feeling a bit distracted, so I might be missing stuff.

Munchki - It's just...I don't know how to explain. I'm probably being stupid and over sensitive...I'll talk about it in a bit? I'd like to calm down a bit first.

Do people think it'd be worth me getting leaflets made, or shall I make some mini cards and leave them places? God knows where...I've got one in the local post office, but where else do you advertise for cards/diaries/home decor kinda stuff?

Why has the wind been taken out of your sails Saucy? Has something happened to stop you in your tracks, or have you run out of ideas?

I haven't really got a niche as yet - keep thinking I've found something and then stalling when I realise there's so much research to do and I have so little time. But I've given myself a good talking to - this is not necessarily a short term project, I've decided to look at it long term. It might take me 6 months to get to the point where I can take a big step but I'm going to do it little step by little step. By the end of this year, I might not have made my first £10,000 but I'm determined to be in a position to start making it.

I'm just going to chill out about it and hope that the ideas washing through this thread push me in the right direction.

This post would probably infuriate Bing0 !!

leaflets can be really useful as well, there are loads of places to put them everything from doing a letter box drop, to putting them in shopping centres, grocery stores, council offices (if they will let you), clubs the list can be endless

  • So you wish to change £100,00 to 10,000 by the end of 2010?

Well surely you just move the comma? Hooray - I did it before the end of January 2010.

Hmmm ... I want to divide into short, medium and long-term projects. I don't mind having more than one thing on the go, as long as I don't get confused! I'd also like a mix of things, so I'm not just dealing with 'adult' stuff all the time.

The tarot site is finished, the domination site will be the next thing completed. As to what I really enjoy, I love words and playing with them. I enjoy proofreading (depending on the text!) and have quite a bit of experience. I also like feeling that I've helped people, so the tarot could potentially give me quite a bit of satisfaction, plus I'm a pagan, so that links in with something that means a lot to me.

I also ADORE cats, so that is what I'm thinking about when I do the art, some form of cat figures - just need to work out what materials to use.

Nixi, you can see the link for my tarot site in my profile.

Been discussing forms of crafts tonight with OH - he was talking about casting resin forms from epoxy resin I think it was, I could have completely the wrong idea about what you mean by cat figures but this made me think of it. Also he was saying that if you want to make your own mould to reuse then you could make something from, say, Fimo or Sculpy, and use liquid latex (I think!) to make your own mould :) Anyway if that's useless to you hopefully it'll help someone else :o

I've ticked off two things MMTWGR! :TI've decoupaged a lamp base with 50's horror comic reprints (it's OK for a first attempt) and I've reviewed a film on Dooyoo. All my review are very positive atm because I'm going through a list of stuff I've enjoyed; it's going to get more and more depressing as it goes on, this Dooyoo thing, as I start reviewing stuff I don't actually like! :rotfl:
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
