    :)Still searching .....:)
  • I just blarted through OBEM... Apart from with ignorant bloke... I had a few choice words to say about him to hubby... He was even worse than p1ss taking bloke the other week! I did feel for the pair of them though when the baby was taen off and wasn't breathing well, I couldn't imagine how bad that must feel...

Hubby's just doing the dishwasher... I need to clear the sides and the sink in the kitchen for when the window fitters come tomorrow... No idea what time they're coming but the bathroom blokes are coming back at 8:30
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

When we were there, there was one very very very poorly baby whos mum was never there when I was. I couldnt understand why any mother could not go and visit their sick baby ... And then I met her in the cafe one day and introduced myself as I had saw her in with the baby before I went, and chatted away to her. She had twins, and one was sent to the Royal in Belfast and the other in Antrim, so she had to travel between 2 hospitals nearly an hour between them to see both the babies :( How hard would that be ?? Never felt as sorry for someone in my life !!
By the time Dylan was going home, she had got them both together in Belfast, so it didnt last too long, but I cannot imagine how hard that must have been for her

My Brother and his wife, they lived in Dawlish with their 2yr old. One twin in Exeter 30mins away and one in Bristol 2hrs from home! :( Not enough beds in one hospital! He drove her and her expressed BM on a round trip nearly every day!
Too many children, too little time!!!

Right I am watching the plus hour of OBEM and seeing the baby in the inci and her talking about being jealous of everyone else feeding and she cant even touch is exactly how I was ... worst few days of my life :( Am now sitting here is tears, but feel weird, as I am just relieved he is home and not going through that anymore

I know what you mean about feeling weird  Kinda feels like it happened to someone else cos he's been home so long now (33 weeks home, compared to only 8 weeks in hospital, though it felt like a lifetime at the time!) and doing so well compared to what he was like in hospital, but then when I actually think about it, it feels like only last week.
I have never been in a more scary place in my life. it is non stop alarms and beeps and nurses ushering you out to do tests and things

What's very scary is when alarms go off and they don't come - because they know what it is, and you don't, and it's not actually a "come running" type alarm :o

I think I'm going to feel weird going back in when I do the days on ward part of my training.. :o
  • Tara, I found it exhausting traveling an hour to one hospital, I have no idea how anyone could cope with that :(

  • Thats exactly it elle. I can go weeks without even remembering that he was so sick, and then I will see something or someone will say something and it all comes back that it really did happen :(

nice one on the weigh gain elle :D .. jaydens got so big now my arm goes dead after a while :rotfl: x

When was he last weighed? V was weighed last week, I bet J is heavier than her.

    Oh 3, I seeeee you :p

How did the transport yesterday go back at school ?? I was thinking of you at home time.

OK yesterday, just one teacher and the escort. He was in his seat, with seat belt on and earned cake.
Tonight it was escort and TA. But he was upset because they had a device on the seatbelt to stop him taking it off, but the staff couldn't get it off either, so he was trapped in his seat for a good 5 minutes.
TA also had a deep scratch on her face and I thought J had done it while they were trying to get his belt off. She said oh, no - he did it earlier when they went out shopping in the school minibus. Another child had kicked off and was being v. noisy, so J had kicked off too and caught her face. :o What am I going to do when he's bigger than me? It won't be long.

OBEM made me cry tonight too. And i'm normally a heartless moo! After it finished I told OH I wanted a new ickle baby, he said back, in his best sarcastic tone ' and do you want a ickle shoe box to keep it in, 'cos there's no room in this sodding house! :rotfl:
