Have no idea who FSIDS are. I just know that there is no way I would use a cot bumper *shrugs shoulders* Benjamin is always burrowed in the top corner of his cot!

Just be aware that she is only allowed to look after 3 children under 5 at any one time. And IIRC she can only have 1 baby under 12 months at any one time....these numbers include her own children...which doesn't fit your situation :undecided

Is she working with an assistant?

There are lots of positives to working with an assistant but if the assistant is off ill then she will have to turn some children away (or get an alternative assistant in).

no mention of not being able to have Kian. is there somewhere i can check this out?? direct gov says no more than 3 under 5. she sounded so nice on the phone and would be ideal for us. no assistant.

Tia, a few of Aimee's friends have older siblings and it's generally accepted that parents will pay for them to have soft play during a party... Or could you not drop ds2 off at the in laws while to take ds1 then go back to him?

Have just text my mum for you - she works for local authority early years service training and vetting childminders and running a CM network. xx



Edit - thinking about it logically I may be completely wrong - how would twins be looked after if you couldn't have 2 babies???


Edit - found this CMs are usually only registered for 1 baby but can be registered for 2...

national childminding association in its FAQS says 'usually no more than 1 under 1 year' and OFSTED set it so i wonder if there is a way of checking on ofsted as i dont want to get my hopes up and then not be able to use her.
