    Took Henry to drs this morning about his 'rash' cos it was really red this morning , turns out its some of excema that has gone into a bacterial infection probably because of sweating or having a wet nappy at night :(:eek: I feel like a bad mummy for not taking him on Monday as it looked like it was getting better :embarasse

    Mum and Dad have taken him for a couple of hours so I can catch up on sleep and now William is awake...typical man!! He is constantly shoving his hand in his mouth even after a feed - teething maybe?
    Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

    LOL - you took the words right out of my mouth.

    Elle - I am assuming that you know the dangers of cot bumpers and have undertaken an appropriate risk assessment :o

    someone mentioned dreams only starting at a certain age a while back, I'm not sure if its true but Chris was about Charlotte's age when he went through a phase of doing just as you describe, it was only bad for a week or two then fizzled out. I'm pretty sure he dreams now because talks about doing things 'last night while I was sleeping'
    :j:T

    <snip>

    Krystal - I bet you save lots on heating now though x
    I think they dream from birth... But as they get older/mature they interpret them and understand them more... Hubby said I woke him up in the night talking in my sleep... Then when he got up for work, he went to the loo and he could hear Aimee in the next room talking in her sleep lol...

    I shall be able to dispense with the oil filled radiator that has been the only thing stopping ice forming on the inside of my bedroom window for the last few months!!!

    Back door and lounge window are only single glazed units, but they're not being replaces because they're sound units...
    do you give calpol before the jabs?
    Not the early baby ones because they don't always have a reaction, but when Aimee was older and having boosters/mmr etc I used to give her a dose about 20mins before the jab and also a lollipop or similar to take her mind off... Although I did give her raisins at the mmr which was a mistake... She was newly walking and wouldn't be carried anywhere and she was so busy concentrating on the walking she dropped the raisins everywhere and was kind of crying over the jab and kind of crying over the raisins... It was heart breaking really...
    A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
    Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Thanks everyone, he's not here so we'll see if he shows. He knows i've got to go out for Amber's first jabs at 1:30-ish so who knows? He's got no phone atm either so i won't find out til he knocks on the door (if!)...

    Susan i got your PM and we're on :D I told ex that if he was coming, to be aware that i'm out tomorrow afternoon, he said where you going? I said 'i'm meeting someone' and i could almost see the paranoia/jealousy coming out of the phone :rotfl:.

    IF he shows i hope Amber's jabs don't make her poorly cos i want him to see how spectacularly perfect she is. Although if she cries lots he might realise it's not been a walk in the park :cool:

    Maz, Amber is always shoving her hands in her mouth too, i meant to say that last time you mentioned it. Early teething had crossed my mind too but if i offer the dummy she takes it straight away so seems to just want to be sucky
