Thanks Susan I feel a bit better now about the poop.

Think I'll def try to get to the class next week Glam, is only 5 minutes walk so won't even need to be chaperoned in the car or anything.

Had a mostly to myself day today with Jessica and apart from grouchiness was lovely. First day without company for 3 weeks!

Looking forward to CBB final now (is on Sky+)

Really fancy a glass of wine tongiht but I dont' know if I dare have one til I've been to the DRs on Monday to check my blood levels.

I'm 5'8", OH is 6'2" so I have a feeling LO will be fairly tall. SM, shall we start the 5'8" club?

Thanks to Bruno and MOTM on your birth thoughts, and thanks ladies for your OH's perspectives. I was just curious really as personally I can't imagine anything worse than watching the person you love most in the world being in so much pain and would rather be the one in labour than the one watching (and I'm allowed to say that 'cos I had a 44 hour labour only 10 weeks ago)!

MDW- I love the sound of the natural c-section. I will give serious consideration to a planned c-section next time I think and that sounds like a really good option.

I found it really strange when I started to have days by myself. Two of three weeks when you constantly have visitors and OH is on paternity leave and then suddenly you're all by yourself with your baby.

Loved it though (apart from the days when baby is grouchy and won't let you put her down for more than 10 seconds so you burst into tears when DH gets home and say how you're a crappy wife and a crappy mummy, or was that just me? )

no worries! he's prolly around 10lbs now...

the MW who delivered Finn was also very young (maybe my age-ish?) but very lovely. Not sure if she was lovely because she was young, though!

YAYY!!! .. 5ft 8" club to be honest in our family some of the girls are 6ft 5" so im one of the shortest x

I think I was really lucky! My MW throughout pregnancy was about my age and was lovely. The one that came on duty when I gave birth to J was fantastic and very funny! I guess as I only had to put up with her for an hour I didn't have time for her to get on my nerves.
However......................... the 'matron' I got allocated on the ward after birth was a complete battleaxe, she took over completely and wouldn't let me do anything for J!
