OH OH and I too am 5 foot 3 and a half!!! :rotfl:
Seth is for the second night in a row refusing to go down to sleeplast night he screamed for half an hour before I gave up and brought him downstairs again, the first time ever I've given in and brought him back down, and tonight he seems to be doing the same thing again. OH is of the opinion that we should leave him to it and turn the TV up, cos we've never had a problem before, but I think I'm about to give in
Another 2 pages to catch up on! Must remember to post before I b00ger off! OH nicked the lappy for a bit!
I'm 5ft 1'
Em - I just had to settle J down here, he was crying and crying upstairs. He has 1 red cheek so has had a dose of Calpol and some more A&P powder. His scratch mitt was in his mouth for about 2minutes and it was wringing wet - I wish I could take his pain awayA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

The half is important. I'm 6'5 1/2 and the 1/2 is very important. Okay it's not, but I was 5'3 1/2 once
Lucy is 5'8 approx I think.
I thought as I was writing that post that I had to very careful how I worded that an extra half an inch didn't matter as much to DH as it did to me
Don't think you missed anything re heights, I just thought it was funny how someone else was saying they were 5' 3" and a halfSeems there are a few of us though!
When I told my mum I was pregnant her response was "well what about your wedding dress?" as I had wedding booked for around 17 weeks pg. Not as bad as some responses but still not very nice0 -
Aw join me! We can be on the pg thread together! Aiming for giving birth around Sept/Oct 2011!! :j
Sept/Oct are well out for me!!!! DD will not tolerate sharing a birthday and that was a big stress when I was pregnant as due 24th and she is 29th! November is too close to christmas and December no way, me and OH hate dec birthdays so I need to go the other way! Think June/July would be lovely0 -

I was just curious really as personally I can't imagine anything worse than watching the person you love most in the world being in so much pain and would rather be the one in labour than the one watching (and I'm allowed to say that 'cos I had a 44 hour labour only 10 weeks ago)!
Ask me now and i'll say they deserved pain as they turned into horrible creatures, ironically partially because of the girls
At the time, no I didn't want them to be in pain, but once they were in their second labour, they knew what having a baby was about, so I figured they were big enough and ugly enough to make their own decisions.
It's never nice seeing anyone you care about in pain though, physically or mentally.0 -

I always thought I was 5' 4'', but then I had a minor op while I was pregnant, and they decided at the hospital that I am 5' 4.5''. That extra half inch is very important I'll have you know.BM, you're the same height as me, apart
from the half. You're not too heavy, you're too short. X
He might go out again. no idea what's going on in his head, pretty sure the moods swings are more than just mood.
Just catching up. Your poor friend, what a twonk.
Birth stuff - DH was there, but a bit at the sidelines, because my mum and MIL were both there too (he wanted MIL there, as she used to be a MW ... which resulted in me having no idea if my MW was nice or not, as she left us to it for most of the time!). He complained afterwards he could see the pub out of the window, and could have been there for most of the evening, and just came to join us at the end. Sensative soul that he is.
Poor old DH is passed out in bed - came home all shivery, and wouldn't eat anything. He is just getting over one bug, poor old DH probably doesn't have much immune system to fight off anything else
I should probably go to bed soon - trying not to cry over the NSPCC advert. Definitely a sign that sleep is needed.
