Glam dont panic about your hair mine came out really dark as well but the colour washes out over a week or so and will lighten up. They do another purple which i found to come out a lot lighter i think its cyber purple and is a lot better if you want a more full on purple rather than a dark with a purple tint :-)

    afternoon guys

hugs and cuddles to those who need them.

am knackered tired after another night of K waking every hour or so. he's also gone back to wanting a bottle in the middle of the night. i guess he's hungry so have started him on food again.

DH rang before, a friend of ours has died from an overdose. :( not sure if on purpose or accidental. only talked to him valentines day.

  • Sorry you had a rubbish bday elle, i wouldn't and don't let things drop and keep making big hints about how upset or disapointed i would be.
There is something about men and not being very thoughtful once the kids come along. My hubby used to be great and he isn't too bad but he has had his moments. the 2 moments that stick in my mind are my very first mothers day. His family don't ever go out for meals for occasions like easter, mothers fathers day etc but my family have always gone out for sunday lunch so this is what we did with my parents which was nice however other than a card that hubby had wrote he didn't get me anything at all from ds1. I would have been happy with a little scribble in the card from ds1 as it would have been from him.

The 2nd moment was when i had ds2 i was really upset he didn't get me any flowers at all, i am not even sure i got a well done or congratulations from him. I know it was an odd and difficult time but i really expected some when i came home ( without harry as in neonatal) All that met me was the empty house as ds1 was with his gran.

When i had ds1 the house was full of flowers from everyone so i guess that's why i found it odd.

In laws didn't give me any either but mum got me some for the day harry came out of hospital which was nice and showed up my hubby really.

When i had ds1 i had packed a card and present in my hospital bag as it was also hubbys bday. During the night so mw's didn't see me doing it as i would have got told off i somehow still attached to drips, a catheter and could hardly move lent over into the cot and took a print of his foot onto hubbys birthday card. I also got him a t-shirt that said i'm the daddy. He loved it so much. So there is really no excuse for him if i could do that while so ill.
