    I don't want half-term to be over! :(

Maybe it came out wrong! I love the big two to bits, but my middle one has profound special needs, and the baby is still very sick several times a day and quite needy, so its difficult to manage with all three at home just at the moment. When Edward gets a bit older, or better in himself, then I'm sure I'll enjoy having all three at home at the same time more. At the moment though its easier to have them at school for the bulk of the day while OH is at work and to have decent family time at the weekends when one of us can devote time to the baby and one to DD if necessary.

Much better thanks. He's taken to solids like a duck to water and is much happier in himself (though today was very sick on several occasions). Following some cracking suggestions on this thread, I've tried him with sweet potato puree and carrot and swede puree both of which he loved, and he even tolerated some stewed plums with baby rice for tea tonight. Much to my relief :o half term is over today so the big two will be back at school on Monday which will make life simpler for a while.

How are things with you? I never get a chance to read the whole thread so usually only read back 20 or so posts before I post or lurk for 5 mins of an evening, which is nowhere nearly long enough to keep up with you chatty folk!

Yeah good - have started giving Jack a few lumps today which he seemed OK with. Also gave him a steamed carrot stick but he chomped it and nearly gagged! Jack was sick twice today but its because he's sticking his fingers down his throat *rollseyes*
He loves sweet potato, he had that mixed with carrot and parsnip tonight.

Jack can roll over & sit up and judging on today's movements I don't think it will be long til he crawls  He was shuffling round on his tummy but went about a foot backwards - if he could just get the tummy off the floor he'd get there!

When was Edward born? I can never remember these things!

Right off to bed, I will see you lovely lot tomorrow!
Plan to do some more purees and make a start on my filing and shredding in the time between when Jack wakes up (7am) and when OH gets up (10am)
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Nicki, glad to hear things are going well! I meant to ask how your DD has taken to him. Was she jealous or acting up?

Amber can roll back to front, but as she deosn't like being on her front, she doesn't see the point ~:D
