hope it might finally get resolved for you and dd :)

Thanks. We'll see. I'm guessing it's not as simple as one meeting, but we'll worry about the next stage when we know what the options are.

Lucy home in 45 mins or so, so want to get dinner on and then I have everyone for the weekend :T:j

While i'm here and hogging the thread anyway, i have a question.

Has anyone, or anyones naughty OH been on a Driving Course after a speeding fine?
I've been offered one; the choice is 3 points and a £60 fine, or attend this half day driving course for £88 and get no points.
I'm just curious as I don't know anyone who's been on one.
I quoted this earlier but only went for quick reply rather than proper reply!
I know a few people that have been on them, and they all said they were boring as anything but worth it to avoid the points.

This comment from that made me laugh...
It is understood GMTV received between 10 and 20 emails responding to the item, giving a range of opinions.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: A HUGE response from the vast majority of GMTV viewers then :rotfl::rotfl:

for those who have the bumbo...do you think the tray is a good idea?
we will have for K bumbo, rocker chair- can sit up nearly straight and highchair as well for feeding.
Looking back, I think the whole bumbo thing was a waste of money :o let alone the tray as well. I got Seth's when he was 3 months old and well able to hold his head up, but it seemed a bit pointless putting him in it at that age cos he would just look around for a minute or two and then be bored. Then I fed him in it at 4 months but ended up switching back to the bouncy chair cos it kept his head still and stopped him bobbing it around and jamming the spoon to the back of his throat, and at 5 1/2 months he arched his back and flipped out of it - luckily I was there to catch him!

:shhh: I'm still here but had to share this from FB
BOC: I doubt it too! It's all over the net - and even found it's way to Martin Lewis's website forum (moneysavingexpert.com), which interestingly is now closed for a 'planned upgrade'... mmm, just so happens ML is a regular on GMTV. CB-C has also posted an explanation on her website, worried about her client list and all those £s!
I left a comment coz we gotta stick up for lovely Martin :D

Oh and on births and OH's looking, OH stayed up my head end and didnt look til Seth was fully out and laying on the bed between my legs, but he cried his wee eyes out as soon as he did see him. He said after it was partly cos he was so proud to see his boy for the first time but mostly relief that it was all over, since I'd spent the last hour crying that I couldnt do it, and cos there was meconium in the waters there was a monitor belt round me that I kept pulling off so they gave up on it, and he was paranoid there was something wrong that hadnt been picked up on!
He has said since that he still wouldnt look if I had another, but he would want me to have an epidural and not brave it out :rotfl:

Yes, we're going on holiday in May and she's excited about that. She remembered that we had sausages on the plane last year, so she's been telling everyone she's looking forward to sausages on the plane too :rotfl:

Do you go through phases? At the end of last year I so wanted to give up work and be a full time Mam. The shops were busy and I was getting stressed struggling to park and having shoppers in my way.

At the moment my parents are on holiday, so I'm only doing odd bits of work around Craig's shift. Although I'm loving spending more time with Charlotte, part of me is missing work!

Give it a few weeks and see how you feel. Don't make a snap decision when you're stressed as it might not be the right one.

Charlotte was 7lb 3oz and she arrived 4 weeks early. My boys were both 3 weeks early and were a 5lb 11oz and 6lb 2oz. The boys were more dainty :D

My tummy is a right mess. I was massive as Charlotte was a big baby, plus I had polyhydramnious which is way too much amniotic fluid. There was so much I had to have my waters broken as the pressure was so great they were worried about a prolapse. They put loads of padding down, but the fluid just kept coming and coming. The bed was soaked, the midwife was soaked and they had to ring for somoene to come with a mop and bucket. Other midwives were coming in for a look as they'd never seen so much fluid :o

The skin stretched so much it was all dry and felt like it was splitting. It's never gone back to normal and I'm left with a horrid saggy pouch that hangs down over my lady bits. No amount of exercising will shift it as it's just saggy skin, and it makes buying knickers difficult as I need to wear big ones so I can tuck it in as low cut kickers chaff in the fold. I have to keep it well washed and dry as the skin gets sore in the fold. I really want a tummy tuck but I can't afford one.

That's like my stomach and I've only had 1 child

I very rarely wear knickers now :o because they ping under the fold and they rub and it's minging. I have some big pants that manage to stay over the apron when Im at the gym,

Beccles, thats what I'm trying to get on the NHS (and I know its controversial, cosmetic surgery etc) and I have my app on March 5th, but that doesnt mean I'll get it, just a plastic surgeon looking at it. I have no confidence at all, and not had sex in god knows how long because I don't want OH touching or seeing the state of my stomach.

My belly button has a constant infection in it, it utterly STINKS it oozes white/brown gunk, I've had creams from the doctor and it doesn't clean it up and the problem IS, the saggy bit of the belly pulls the rest of my stomach down, so my belly button isn't circular, it's vertical, so there is 0 ventilation going into it. It's just a breeding ground for ickyness.

I do hope they will give me it because I certainly can't afford to pay for it, and it does effect me, I wont take Keira swimmin because it would poke out at the leg holes in the swim suit, I can't run because it flops out my trousers :(

Sami, that page is actually scary. I take it that its that woman that wrote the book? There is a way of promoting your views, and theres ramming it down peoples throats!
Breastfeeding Older Children was written to to support long-term breastfeeding women AND to educate health professionals about the realities of sustained breastfeeding.
What health professionals are going to listen to a woman that had no [STRIKE]sensible[/STRIKE] views to share once she did get into the limelight except "WOMEN MUST BREASTFEED ALL BABIES UNTIL THE BABIES WANT TO GIVE UP!"
