I had a strange moment earlier (just the one).

16yo went to the cinema with her friends and she dressed up a bit and when she was ready to go and came in the room I was in, I just stared and she wondered why I was looking so odd, and I had to explain to her that when you see someone every day, you don't always notice the changes in them. She's not a little girl anymore, she's turning into a young woman and it hit me that I may not have long until she's talking about moving out with someone. She's single at the moment, but like all my girls who are old enough to think of boys, she's a bit popular and one day she's going to like someone back. I hope and pray she doesn't move as fast as her dad

Sorry my first post of the day isn't very interesting.

I hope everyone is well and have had a nice day with their younglings.

i thinkit is interesting. i had one of the same kinds of moment with Katie this week. She started potty training and i though "When did u start goring up already!?" - so i dread t think how your moment effected/affected - (i always get confused!) you and how im gonna feel when she gets to your DD's age!

    Night all

wi3adora - Alex to win CBB and Rachel Rice won BB 2 or 3 years ago - she was the sweet Welsh girl that beat the blind chap Mikey in the final.

I have a thing for sweet Welsh ladies (Lucy, for example)

Who do you want to win CBB?

I'm stuck on a few peeps to win, well we'll now tonight :D I haven't watched the normal bb for a few years now, although I might watch it this time with it being the last one??

Sami, if it makes you feel any better, while I've got no pregnancy stretch marks, I've got a very wiggly linea nigra (think thats what it's called?) - it was very faint and straight over the middle of my bump when pregnant but now it's all over the place if that makes you feel any better. Oh and (TMI ALERT!!) a couple of ingrowing hairs on my cs scar.

I've got a big wiggly line too. Its faded a bit but I thought it would have gone by now *confused*

Do you have an aeroplane trip planned? Someone might have told her that the poo gets sucked out of the plane and she might be really interested.

Yes, we're going on holiday in May and she's excited about that. She remembered that we had sausages on the plane last year, so she's been telling everyone she's looking forward to sausages on the plane too :rotfl:

i appreciate that all working mums will feel this way but how do you get passed it?

Do you go through phases? At the end of last year I so wanted to give up work and be a full time Mam. The shops were busy and I was getting stressed struggling to park and having shoppers in my way.

At the moment my parents are on holiday, so I'm only doing odd bits of work around Craig's shift. Although I'm loving spending more time with Charlotte, part of me is missing work!

Give it a few weeks and see how you feel. Don't make a snap decision when you're stressed as it might not be the right one.

hmm Edgar was a hefty 8lb 4, girls are dainty though aren't they? I really need a baby girl :D

Charlotte was 7lb 3oz and she arrived 4 weeks early. My boys were both 3 weeks early and were a 5lb 11oz and 6lb 2oz. The boys were more dainty :D

My tummy is a right mess. I was massive as Charlotte was a big baby, plus I had polyhydramnious which is way too much amniotic fluid. There was so much I had to have my waters broken as the pressure was so great they were worried about a prolapse. They put loads of padding down, but the fluid just kept coming and coming. The bed was soaked, the midwife was soaked and they had to ring for somoene to come with a mop and bucket. Other midwives were coming in for a look as they'd never seen so much fluid :o

The skin stretched so much it was all dry and felt like it was splitting. It's never gone back to normal and I'm left with a horrid saggy pouch that hangs down over my lady bits. No amount of exercising will shift it as it's just saggy skin, and it makes buying knickers difficult as I need to wear big ones so I can tuck it in as low cut kickers chaff in the fold. I have to keep it well washed and dry as the skin gets sore in the fold. I really want a tummy tuck but I can't afford one.
Here I go again on my own....
