Always, something these lovely ladies pointed out to me the other day was that it doesn't matter how other people cope with the aftermath of their labours and the birth of their babies - what matters is how YOU feel.

I still feel badly, so I'm going to look for a counsellor. We don't have the chat-to-a-midwife option here, but if you feel it would help then do it. What matters is you.

FWIW, I'm exclusively BF (although she does get noms and mush on top of BF now) and co-sleeping half the time and still no AF, although Molly was born in August.

Choppy thanks for that. Neither of us drive but I do have 4 huge steps upto my house where I need to lift it in and out. I would need a carseat too as the (EVIL) travel system Ive got came with one. I feel bad as OH's parents paid for the pram and I found it as cheap as possible for them as their not too flush so dont want them to think Im snubbing their pram but I can barely push it! My sister lives near the M&P outlet and they've had Skates for £199 so Im severely tempted. Its that or the Joolz I think, just need to persuade OH now.

SS my collage came earlier this week and its so nice I ordered another straight away for my parents. Might do one more before it ends.

Must go as madams grinching at me and I need to get to baby massage and not make excuses for myself again.

    Catch you all later x

    ooh forgot I'd quoted
    hello, hows things?
Sami I read it on here http://www.naturalmamas.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=39887

I joined when I was looking for a new sling, their quite pro BF/AP/EMC etc and when mardy bum wouldnt sleep last night I ended up reading most of the thread. Fritha's posted on it too IIRC.

Ive got a Streety travel system, its beyond awful and keeps collapsing on one side so hoping Boots will refund it as faulty but it means I need to buy a new pram and car seat. Ive decided shops should have various weight fake babies to put in prams when your trying them, their all easy with nothing in! (not sure if shops do this anyway but wherever I tried didnt) It was me who might have been coming but its a bit far on the bus with Isla. Ooh, but dont you have a Phil & Teds? Im tempted by a tandem double as my sisters due in 6 weeks so means I can have it as a singles for just Isla and doubles when I mind both babies.
Thanks, gonna go read it now.

I have the P&T sport its very good for baby and toddler but not suitable for 2x newborns and although it can be used for nborn and 6mth I personally don't think I would, the 'extra' seat isn't very cosy for a tiny one.
It is lovely to push and was fab on the snow and you can get a carry cot for it now too
