Yeh, it makes pretty harrowing reading. It's one of my local three (although the furthest away of the three), and I'd never choose to go there after reading about the inquests of those poor babies. :(

sorry I'm getting evangelical about stuff in my old but young age :rotfl:

oh that reminds me!! I was reading a copy of Heat from Jan at the hairdressers, in it a 20yo hollyoaks star said "when I was young..." when?! When?!!!

OH watched part of OBEM with me. I told him what I said before about not being able to deal with the pressure of being told that the baby needs to be out now and it all being down to me. His very simple explanation for me wanting a section next time is "I'm a control freak and can't deal with the unknown". Yup, that's me! :o

I am tempted next time Sami, but this one went so quickly (from 2cms at 7:15am to being born at 10:29am, with no examinations or pain relief until 10am) that I'm worried the MW wouldn't get to me in time.

When I had given birth the MW said to me "if you have a second baby, you need to get to hospital, or if you're having a home birth call the MW, as soon as you start contracting as it could be half the time next time".

I just think "what if they can't get to me in time". I couldn't cope with just me and DH. I cried when I got to hospital cos I was so relieved there were people who knew what they were doing (at that point, I didn't know they were going to leave me in a bathroom for several hours!).
