    Katie enjoyed roasted turnips the other night! Can't get DH to eat them though

    That sounds yum! I might do those for the whole family, not just him. Thanks for the other suggestions too. My first two weren't fussy at all when I started weaning, so its a shock to have him turn up his nose at my lovingly prepared purees, especially as I had planned to go down the BLW route this time round until I was advised to start him on solids early.

    Weaning - have you tried mixing new flavours with baby rice? It kind of tones down the new flavour a bit, so you can introduce them more slowly?

    G&A - don't know how dilated I was, but they brought it through to me when I started yelling the place down. :o
