work is crap and I am not discussing it !!

My baby boy on the other hand tore my lip off today  OK, well, not literally, but he was doing his normal grabbing at my lip, but got further in my mouth than normal and got his nail caught on the inside and pulled _pale_:cry: I got blood !!!

And Jasmine got in trouble for telling her dad he was a f e c ker :eek: (unfortunately I think she got that one from me :o)

:rotfl:I remember calling my Dad a T O S S E R once! :o That was before I realised it was a really naughty word - I was about 12. To be fair, I heard him say it first!

Boo for cuts! I think my cut on my chin might scar - a battle wound from my baby. It's scabbing over really thick and crusty not like a normal scab. _pale_

Am going to catch up, but just watching One Born Every Minute and that girl has G&A and is only 2cm dilated...I was told that "it wouldn't be effective if we gave it to you now" when I was 2cm.

Then I dilated so quickly, I didn't get it until the pushing stage as they didn't believe how far along I was <rolling eyes smiley>

    Were they lying to me?

Like Susan - 4cm to be admitted and 4cm to have G&A. I was crying for it but kept being told 'No, you have to be on the ward and you can't go on the ward until your 4cm' so I asked her to examine me and she was like 'You were 0cm 2hrs ago, oh go on then' - quick check and I was 6cm

Wow, talked about my birth story alot today haven't I? :o

  • Caitlyn had her first experience of orange juice today, out of one of those little cartons with a straw... She was shocked at the taste and pulled a really funny face... Then proceeded to keep sucking it up the straw then dribble out her mouth...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Gorgeous pic of Molly, Sugarspun.

On the weight thing, OH took me out for a late Valentine's meal last night, and when the girl came to take the order, she asked whether there were any things I wasn't eating in my condition :o. I'm not sure she believed me when I said I wasn't in that condition - made worse by the fact that I suddenly felt ill when the food actually came, and we had to leave without me having any of my main course (and I ended up being sick by the side of the road on the way home :o, classy girl that I am!)

Edward is really enjoying his baby rice, but I'm finding it hard to convince him to try anything else. He's turned his nose up at pureed carrot, carrot mixed with baby rice, and pureed apple and pear. He did enjoy some sweet potato today though. Any ideas of suitable purees for fussy babies too young for BLW much appreciated!

After my epic tidy up both OH & BIL commented on how lovely the house looked, they just need to help me keep it this way now!

    LOVE the psychedelic dungas!!

I saw and giggled and was then rather sad that this is my weekly shopping experience :rotfl:

I love the dungarees too, I was deeply upset when my friend insulted them, especially as her baby is challenged in the fashion department herself... actually, if I'm honest I'm a bit annoyed because she went on and on while pregnant about how she couldn't afford any baby clothes and so instead of ebaying Molly's outgrown ones I gave her a giant bag of stuff and have yet to see that baby in any of it - she's always always in brand new clothing. It annoys me when people take advantage that way, you know?

Definitely off to bed now, will attempt to download OBEM when it comes available.

Thank you for the nice comments about my monster - I think she's cute :)
(I do wish I'd swept under the sofa before taking the picture though...)

Nicki, I find it so offensive when people presume pregnancy. I'm of the school where you only assume someone's pregnant if you're looking at their wet stick or their baby is crowning and you can see it. I hope you're feeling better.

Molly didn't like a lot of foods at the beginning, I just went back to a bland thing for the next meal and then tried it again another time. Apparently they can reject something 14 or so times before deciding they actually like it.
