Mine's so much in love with Molly that it would melt your heart to see. It's been difficult for him at times but that's been illness rather than age, IYSWIM, and I definitely have more energy than he does. But he's stable, calm, and clearly wanted to have kids and is very enthusiastic about another/more.hmm, just musing again.
SS, PP how do your OH's feel about their age and being daddies?
I think that when you're a grandparent you get set into your routine without kids and so the one-day high-energy stuff is exhausting. But when you have one in the house all the time it's just normal and you adapt to it. Does that make sense? My grandmother lived with us when I was a kid and she was over 60 when I was born but always had enough energy to keep me entertained even if she wasn't necessarily playing football or running about with me. But she was adapted to perma-kid rather than sometimes-kid.

Hmph, we have both lately! I think I've pretty much decided to move him out of our room at 3 months, because I think I'm going barmy (and also us going to bed is the horrid tiptoe, be silent as church mice affair which I hate).
Yep I hated that! Jack would wake up if I started to undress!oooooh a first for us here! Fergie just pulled himself up to standing and stayed like it for 25 seconds
Go Fergie :j

Yippee for standing Fergie. That sounds so cute.
Ladybird- hope you feel better soon.
Sami- before I had H I would be exhausted by a day with my niece, but now I have my own LO it just seems normal, so I think it's what you're used to rather than age.
Henry woke at 2 then 5 last night- first time he's woken twice for ages. Might have been due to jabs but I think it was because our heating randomly came on during the night and made the room hot.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator
