Morning/afternoon all
Hope everyone's ok - delighted to hear about baby Poppie's poo!
I'm on an unexpected day off as I have a sickly baby with nasty eyes. Have been given amoxycillin by docs (no problems, this is her most favourite food or drink ever) and eye drops. Question is - how on earth do you put eye drops in a baby? Everytime I get near she clamps them shut and cries a lot.
Thanks in advance0 -

so i have decided, after talking it through with DH that if we do have another, i will ask for an elective section. (well thats the plan, prob change when it comes to making the decision). although DH surprised me as he said he thought i would have to have a c/s anyway as i already had one. (must have read the leaflets they gave us)
it made me cry too- reminded me of my birth too.
haven't been around much at all recently, have been busy doing not a lot! Jessica seems to tak eup all of my time even though she sleeps about 16 hours a day! she is still being really good through the night and only waking up twice at the most, we had a couple of nights this week with one wake up which was great considering she is 4 and a half weeks.
Hope everyone is OK and LOs and OHs are behaving themselves!! xBoots: £107.xx on AC :j

Gisi You should be under consultant care next time, as WM said and you will be given the option. And, you don't have to make your final decision until near the birth so you'll have plenty of time to ponder.
Hi Sparkle - how lovely that you got the same midwife. Hugs for Lexi's teeth. V's top two have been there and visible for about a week now, but don't seem to want to come through.
I have listed 23 items on ebay this morning - now it's time for lunch I think.
And my paypal balance is standing at £104.29.:beer:0 -

Sorry to hear she is poorly! I know this sounds mean but when J was a baby I used to just lay him down and gently pull his lower lid down and drop one inI was being cruel to be kind!!! Sorry not much help I know - have a tissue handy though x

Hi 3, It was a bit strange having the same midwife as while I was pushing I was adamant I had never met her before nor had I delivered J at that hospital (I did) But she was lovely and remembered me too so that was nice as she had just come back in from ML when I had J!
WooHoo for money in paypal - I have loads to list on ebay but cant find the motivation. I think you and SM might have to give me a boot up the bum.
I did however just get rid of all my scrap gold and had £480 paid into my account :j
Lexi's teeth were like that too then I think it was Saturday OH said wow have you seen them and there were a couple poking through  Hope V's dont take too much longer (if they are bothering her that is)
xx

gisi- according to the nhs choices website, because you had a c/sect you will automatically be put under consultant care on your next pregnancy.
this leaflet also has some info

Wow for the gold! You must have had a lot .
I've got a quite heavy white gold necklace with matching bracelet that I don't particularly like, never wear (they were from an ex) and I should get rid of them.
Her teeth aren't bothering her - she's just slobbering a lot and eating her hands. Sophie still hasn't been chewed.
Talking of money - does anyone remember before Christmas, I got a letter from work saying i'd been overpaid £399 (i think) and they'd take it out of my December pay.
The letter made no sense to me, so I phoned HR and they said they'd look into it and put the deduction on hold until it was sorted.
They phoned me yesterday, there was an admin error madeand although i'd been overpaid, my maternity pay hadn't been worked out correctly, and they owe me £80. :j

ooo, sparkle where did you sell your gold to? I have a couple of things I want to shift and they are decent quality...
you eBay ladies have motivated me! I need a new swimsuit (my one now is on the point of being vulgar with these BFing boobies!) and am determined to fund it entirely with eBay profits rather than just buying it and then feeling guilty like I would normally do. I've already listed my old fetal doppler & now I'm going to do some clothes, woohoo! Will tackle a few shoes tomorrow, methinks.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

HV has been and A is now 6lb 13oz his birth weight was 6lb 1oz.
Ended up in floods of tears as she asked about family support,"do you have support from brothers or sisters" and off i went. think it has been building up inside and i just couldn't hold it back. Although i think i surprised her since i passed the depression test, not that it's hard. She was nice though and has told me to call if i need someone to talk to and she will organize it so i don't have to face explaining why to different people.
Still at-least i get to bask in the glory of my baby being healthy and such a little cutie:cool:[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

I'm off to see who I recognise on 'One Born Every Minute'......
meet Lola!!
Hugs to Susan, if you read this, even though you probably wont xx
GISI, where is it you work? Not that I want to stalk you or anything, just curious, since I shop in Southampton loads and you said you're a retail manager!
I would hate the thread to be split, cos I'd have to have my own thread to myself, the thread for the person that upset the people that upset the people thread:rotfl:
I did think the bad mummies club was funny, but lost interest after my confession, I've enough to do without posting in another thread!
Weezl, can you link me to the thread we speak of with recipe-ness?
Glad Archie is better today Buttons! xx
ETA - Tara, I forgot to say well done to Poopy Poppie cos I'd already said on FBMummy to
