Becles is there a reason why you shouldn't have more or is it just that your OH thinks the family is big enough?
Nothing concrete. He said we wouldn't all fit in the cars we have now, but we hardly ever go places with the whole family together in the car. I could probably sell my Focus and be able to afford an older MPV that would fit us all in. I've test driven a Vauxhaul Zaifira on a car mystery shop and managed fine in it.
Then he said some would have to share bedrooms, but plenty other children do that and manage fine. By the time Charlotte and any future ones get to puberty and want privacy, there's chance that Josh and James will have flown the nest anyway. Not that I want rid mind, but realistically they won't stop here forever.
Thanks all for the comments - you're all lovely xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
Hugs becles, I cant imagine how you feel as I'm not sure I want any more kids, its my OH that wants another one. So seeing as I dont know what to say, heres a :grouphug:
Well, its official, my son actually hates me
OH has had holiday time off work since Saturday and now whenever Seth is left alone in the room with me he screams himself silly shouting "DADADADADADADA" either til he pukes or OH comes back, but doesnt actually care if I'm nearby or not. Fantastic. Happened twice in the car today as well, when we pulled up for petrol and OH got out, and then again at the rubbish tip.
No sweetie he doesnt
I also get this with Lexi Lou. (well she doesnt puke) I console myself with me being at her beck and call 24/7 so she doesnt need to shout my name :rotfl: She can say Mama as I have heard it - more than one I might add. But she refuses to say when I ask her to. She also shouts nana!!!

An MPV is no different too drive, actually it's comfier. Get a tax freindly one and it could work out cheaper than your focus. I can happily flit between the trajet and the megane.
We have 2 bedrooms and 3 children
Hopefully doing the loft by the end of the year but the boys wont be seperated anyway, they wanted too share when we were going to move to a 3 bed before Amber came along.
Money wise, is it that different?
Just so you can have some replies to his arguments. Wait till you don't feel so raw about it and try talking with him, explaining that it is important to you and you are wanting a discussion not a one way monologue.0 -
hmm, dinner was nommy

becles, really not sure what to say as I have never felt broody in my life, so I am sending you ((hugs))The two best things I have done with my life

Becles- I don't really have anything useful to add except that I know how all-consuming it can feel when you desperately want a baby. More hugs for you, :grouphug: and I hope that you are able to chat it through with OH.
Henry's line is the top but one on the graph .
Went to Booby club at Ikea today (free hot chocolate :money:) and one of the ladies said she'd had 'relations' while BFing....like while actually feeding her LO . Is anyone else freaked out by that, or am I a prude?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Bruno - my OH goes on Genes reunited (friends united) and he started a tree and has matched up with other people's trees that link with his. It was nice to add T to our tree (if you fancy doing this sort of thing). Plus happy anniversary.
Karen or anyone else have any insight as to whether it's worth paying for membership? Tenner twice a year isn't a lot but I'd rather get some reviews first
site looks quite good for the purpose at first glance! 0 -
