((hugs)) Becles (although I'm probably the last person you want hugs from.) I know you probably don't believe me but I do understand how you are feeling, and it isn't nice at all, it consumes your every thought and makes you feel sick but empty at the same time. I hope you can either persuade him or find a way to cope with the situation yourself xx

Sorry job hunting didn't go too well sm:( hopefully something will turn up for you (both)

Bruno - Happy anniversary...is this you 'real' or 'fake' wedding anniversary?

3 - Sorry misunderstanding, I thought you meant warrington was on Friday in the holidays! I think the kids finish on Friday at 2pm plus I had arranged to go pram shopping this friday.....If the school closes normal time and I can re-arrange pram shopping for tomorrow then I might still make it though....

And that brings me nicely on to my question.....Does anyone have a subscription to Which? I am trying to get some reviews and would love to see if there is anything on there.

    Mel x

hello ladies its been a nightmare here today, trying to talk things through with him and we were talking, he said he needed help and to speak to someone(i cant as i get too angry and emotional) i managed to get him app at GP and went with him. Doctor was not interested at all and sent him packing, now he is more down than ever before and i feel awful as i pushed him to go. i really dont know what to do? i have CPN coming tom so am going to ask her if she will talk to him or if she can get him a referal but other than that im stuck, have never met such an unhelpful doctor in my life(different surgery from me)
On top of it all something is up with the babies, Erin has cried most of the day and nothing would settle her apart from her bottle and bed and Charlie has had a temp and been either really quite or major screaming. i think an early night is in order!

Karen - don't listen to what other people say. I was cuddling J to sleep until not so long ago! Glad it worked though. I think Tia said that Amber likes to cry herself to sleep.

When I was a bit snuffly, I put a tissue with Olbas Oil under my pillow. It seemed to clear J's nose and he was on the floor in the Mosey!

Hope you get some sleep tonight!

Wish OH would get up if it was around 6am (he gets up at 6.30am anyway) but no chance!

  • Glam, do you do all the night wakes? Or does OH do them if he is off work the next day ??

  • caz, can you ask to see a different doc for him ?? Is he still sleeping on your couch?? I am not sure if this is the right thing to say, so I appologise in advance, but if he is, then maybe you should ask him to leave, he might be more likely to get himself some help if he thought that was the only way to get you back ??

he is still here as he cant get anywhere else as his name is on the lease i cannot make himm homeless and they do not have to rehome him. Cant afford for him to get his own place as it would cost around 800 for rent and dep.
I have phoned HV and asked her to come out tom i thought if anyone can help she will point him in the right direction. i do feel bad though as i pushed him into this and its just made it worse.

  • Glam - I have to say I was a bit annoyed and felt a bit outnumbered by them all saying they don't get up and take an hour getting their LOs back to sleep (which is what has been happening over the last week) - there were 3 of them saying they leave their babies cry themselves to sleep/settle themselves.

Normally I don't pay that much attention but thought it would be nice to be able to leave her settle herself and thought I'd give it a go. Will have to see how often T wakes tonight -hopefully she will go back to once and go straight back to sleep..... *pig flying over* but ever the optimist :D
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early) :D

I love my mummy cuddles too - she doesn't sit still now so I don't get them that often.

She has a new game - she loves to pretend to be a hairdresser, complete with snip snip sounds! She was in her element tonight as she helped to wash my hair.
