  • Bruno - my OH goes on Genes reunited (friends united) and he started a tree and has matched up with other people's trees that link with his. It was nice to add T to our tree (if you fancy doing this sort of thing). Plus happy anniversary.

Feelie - how are you doing? Read a few of your posts previously as some of what you were saying sounded similar to how I'd been feeling.

I have been better since I had my week staying with my mum and dad (altho I do get on well with them so it depends how you are with your family) my mum took T off my hands for a lot of time plus a few times I expressed in the morning and let my mum do the evening feed so felt less burdened (I think this is the best way to describe it) for a week. I am now just planning to get out and about-going to mother and toddler groups and meet up with friends to get myself out of the rut I was in IYSWIM. Although I still am not feeling as great as I think I should be feeling - not sure if this makes any sense!!

Anyone interested in getting a bumbo -Amazon have the aqua ones for £19.07 at the mo (£24.99 for pink for some reason???!)
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

It was all Feelie's doing :) I charted my boys against each other and she added toby too then everyone joined in.
Beenie you can add Amber, it's an open doc so you can all keep it upto date

Speaking of boobs, my BMF came round today and revealed she's having her boobs done at the end of march! I think she's a bit mad but hey ho, I don't think she's jumpped in without thinking first .

Any local ladies, do you know anyone who is an experienced dog owner looking for a new doggie? My friend has rescued a dalmatian from being put down because it's owners were lazy barstewards who didn't walk it or pay it attention and it nipped their kid because she got in it's face when it was eating. No major behavioural issues just needs some love and would be a good family pet.

    Afternoon all..

Moment of revelation earlier.. We rewatched the video on latching at training today (I'd seen it in the session you go to while still pregnant - although Rhys was 3wks old by then!). Clearly I'd forgotten it all by the time we actually tried breastfeeding and it's no bloody wonder Rhys didn't master it because I didn't try half of the things suggested on that vid! :o:( Going to give it a go when we get quiet times and see if he can do it properly. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to go back to breastfeeding now - I'm happy with the expressing and knowing how much Rhys is getting now - but just curious if we can actually do it. If I can master it with Rhys, maybe I'll feel more confident next time

Have got the paint for Rhys' room then went into town (Aless, wetsuit is in the hands of the fairies ;)) and got various birthday cards and cookies as a treat (was MSE about it, had a BOGOF voucher for bags of cookies ;)).

    Hope everyone's well :)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Oooh doggy owners, someone on the Amazon thread found this with the new tool

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000O6LZG8/ref=pd_luc_mri?_encoding=UTF8&m=A1GVY25FZVAXO1

It's £36 per bag on the manufacturer's site  I'm sorely skint this month but it is supposed to be better food than the Wagg i buy @ £12 per 15kg.

    Hmmm

(well it is slightly parent related :p)
