    Aww MFD, you normally love your job :kisses3:

    ooh look fluffymail.gif

    LOL - Benjamin loves it when I peek between my legs at him like that.

    I was a horrible mummy tonight :( Benjamin and I were having our usual pre-bedtime cuddle and he wasn't sleepy enough (I knew he wasn't, I don't know why I took him up....actually I do - I wanted him to go to bed to I could work :()
    Anyway - cutey boy was holding his elephant over his eyes and then pulling it away and shouting 'ooo' (can't do BOO yet) and I was only cross that he wouldn't settle, not overcome by how gorgeous and clever and cute my son actually is :(

    Hence tears and general crap.

    I need a holiday.

    I measured Keira's height against the toysrus height chart, she is 1 metre tall. So Im guessing she has grown 3 inches since her 3 year 4 month check up. I remember she was about 91cm when last measured. Am I right?
    why must you confuzzle me by switching from m's to inches to cms :p

    91cm -> 1m = 9cm growth = 3 1/2 inches :D

    Mum wants to go on a shopping trip with the both of us but I don't fancy taking the ICandy with it collapsing all the time and Katie will need a pushchair.

    Why does is keep collapsing and which iCandy is it?? You probably have told me but I just can't retain information for longer than a day lately:o

    Gosh there have been a lot of arguments on here recently. I think we need to give posters (on this thread at least) the benefit of the doubt more as it's hard to judge what people are saying if you can only read what they post - not see their faces - and everyone on here is lovely so I doubt anyone means any harm - at least that's what I think! Also, just as a suggestion, maybe it would be better to pm people if you have a problem with what they have written as a first port of call incase it is something that can be easily sorted.

    And can I just say Glam that I remember you checking out and being concerned about whether you would be able to breastfeed way before Jack was born, then I missed why you stopped bf as I wasn't reading the thread but, as I knew you were a lovely person, clever and definitely someone who would do the best for their baby, I didn't question it. Whatever happened I knew you would have done it for the right reasons.

    Now, back to business:

    oh I forgot to say there was this annoying old woman in the changing rooms at the pool who clearly disapproved of me taking Finn swimming. She asked how old he was and when I told her she acted really shocked and said something like, "oh, I didn't know you could take them in so young! He's so little!" and then kept shooting me tut-tut looks the whole time. Uhhh, that is the point of parent & baby time in the pool?

    (not sure how he liked it! good sign is he didn't cry, right? Will deffo buy some sort of wetsuit/swimsuit thing as it was too cold for him, I think. Where can I buy this? eBay? Also, can I 'dunk' him straight away or should wait a while? I'm not paying for lessons so just curious what other baby-swimmers have learned/done.)

    Hi Aless, are you going next week? Might have to come although I don't like the idea of putting Erin on the floor. It's fine for babies to swim before their jabs - I read it on babycentre - hope it's right! Erin screamed constantly when I took her in the changing rooms after swimming :o.

    Stay strong vibes for Tara, Tara's DD and DGD.

    Hugs for everyone who needs them, sometimes I feel so helpless reading this thread, just wish I could come and give hugs and more actively help sort out your problems.
