HOWEVER we've just had an email from the insurance company who have confirmed that, as he had a medical examination in August that didn't show any problems and they agreed to insure him based on that he's covered as of then - so we don't have to pay the €11000 medical fees!!!!

Sugar, i deleted the first part of your post becuase i didn't want you thinking i was applauding the fact that OH is still poorly

Excellent news about Poppie - what a relief it must be that the op. is over and she's a little strong one. :T:T:T

And excellent news about the insurance SS. (But :( that you'll have to use it). Insurance is one of those things that you need to pay for, but hope you won't ever need to use iykwim! :)

ETA: Right, i'm off to school, then tea, then gymnastics. (Hopefully without a trip to collect DS from school in between).

right tara needs our help ... well more like her SIL does ...

basically his work is refusing to pay PL as hes hasnt booked it (well dur he could plan this) and has been told if he wants it to take the forms in to work filled in to be sent off to be paid or hes pretty much screwed fo money for the next 2 weeks ...

we know this is wrong but they need the info x

Sorry SM but I don't know what you mean?
He is not getting PL or He is getting it but he needs to fill in a form?

ETA if its the latter then his employer is perfectly entitled to ask him to fill in a form I'm afraid

  • Gah - Hubby and I were supposed to be going to see Lee Mack on Friday and I had my SIL on standby in case hubby wasn't up to it.

Hubby texted and said I should go with SIL and he would get other SIL to sit with him and Benjamin.

So, like the dutiful wifey that I am, I texted back to say that I think I might want to stay at home and be with him instead...

...and he texted so say I should get the tickets on ebay ASAP :(

Gah - way to backfire :(
