:rotfl: This is a household where ironing is strictly optional and body heat is considered the best way of getting creases out of stuff. I have a gorgeous linen shirt that I love and never wear because it needs ironing and I CBA.

OH was appalled at New Years when he caught me attempting to get the creases out of a dress in a hotel trouser press :rotfl: He got an iron from housekeeping and did it for me :A

No, I didn't think it was a possibility at all, but it's such a relief - 11000 reliefs, in fact! I'm still peeved at my boss for not following through with his original claim that he'd get the bill reduced but it's no longer imperative that I avoid flammable objects in his presence.

HOWEVER we've just had an email from the insurance company who have confirmed that, as he had a medical examination in August that didn't show any problems and they agreed to insure him based on that he's covered as of then - so we don't have to pay the €11000 medical fees!!!!

OH has just left for the hospital. He's left me half an unpacked suitcase, a mountain of paperwork to sort and a pile of assorted crap that needs putting away, along with a small baby and an avalanche of dirty dishes.

Starting with putting stuff away. Right now.
