he he, you can tell its me cos the post takes up the whole page:rotfl:
Benjamin looks very lovely in that pic (as he always does) just want to scoop him up and give him a hug.

    xxxx

P.S. Tara, if you do stop by this morning, know that I am thinking of you, DD and Poppie. Every good thought I have is winging its way to Bristol as we speak. xxxxx

  • Morning all. Didn't get that good nights sleep I was hoping for, but never mind.

I remembered while I was up with Izzy in the night - whoever it was having problems with poo (can't remember who it was, sorry) - I don't think I saw anyone suggest prunes. Either as finger food if you are weaning, or whizz a few up with other fruit as a pudding :)

Whoops, just realised what else I've missed off my calendar - seeing Sami on Mon 1st too! Tis in there now..

And "" at 10am meets more than an hour away? Do you guys know what time I get up?! :p;)

Lol! Of course if you were coming elle we would meet later (would give me plenty of shopping time first too!) It's cause I'm only 20 mins away from M'Hall and saves me going home to come out again shortly after.

Sorry for the abrupt finish last night, she had started crying and I knew I probably wouldn't get back on.

I read that thread that turned into FF v BF, I clicked the bottle feeding benefits link
    I 'like' this bit best
The mother can go about her daily chores, or to work without frequent feeding intervals or pumping. She can also leave the child under the care of her partner, or other caretaker. In public, bottle-feeding is much more convenient.
    daily chores??
I'm not sure how (assuming you're following guidelines which mention nothing about how long after sterilising it is ok to use a bottle) making a fresh sterilised bottle up and then cooling/warming it to correct temp is more convenient than lifting top and lowering bra though :p

btw the debate on that thread has seriously upset at least one person care about :(
Boo to nasty thread. I can't say I ever had to feed Alice that frequently - I remember when she was newborn the MW said she should be feeding at least 8 times/day but Alice was usually seven (but managed to gain 6oz by day ten and another 10 by day 16 so was obviously having enough). I think it probably depends more on the baby than on the method of feeding. It makes it sound like feeding abbies is an inconvenience to mothers and an interruption to their lives. When Alice was very small I can't say I had much need/desire to leave Alice to go anywhere but on the odd occasion I did I left her with OH and if I was gone long enough for her to need a feed then he gave her a bottle of EBM - it wasn't that hard.

Just sliding by to wish MM good luck and a nice non-stressful day - are you planning to nip home for lunch as you're so close? Or is that a bad idea?

And hugs for MFD, it sounds very stressful and anxious-making :( but things are clearly on the up even if it was more serious than you realised at first. And your pic of Benjamin is very adorable which must help.

It was me (well, Caitlyn!) who was having problems with poo. I never thought of prunes. She had 2 poos yesterday, one seemed to hurt a bit but there was a fair bit, then a couple of hours after we had the poopsplosion with all the soft stuff, I've never been more pleased to change a stinky nappy!

Ah, I knew there was someone else. Good Luck MM. Be thinking of you too. Only 3 weeks left until I start my KIT days. Can't believe how much I don't want to leave Kezia. Thank God I'm going back to a job I loved, I can only hope I love it as much when there are more exciting things I could be doing with K.

Off to Signing this morning, then hoping to get Kezia weighed, then we are meeting our best friends for some retail therapy at the local Outlet Village. Despite my smug ' I'll be back in old clothes by Xmas' comments before I had K, I am desperately in need of some bigger work trousers. Some of my tops are ok but my thighs and bum are not likely to see the inside of my size 0's for quite some time yet.:o

    Morning.

I go back to work 10 weeks tomorrow :(

Off to buggy-fit this morning - one whole hour of exercise . Hope the rain holds off!

Then I need to come back and get the house tidy as we're having it valued at 3pm.

I might be spending a bit less time on here as DH had a chat with me last night and I think it's starting to annoy him a bit that I don't spend any time with him in the evenings. He's got a point, so I'm going to make more of an effort.
