do we know why there was the change to 12months?

Dunno why it changed but I have been giving Benjamin a beaker of Cows Milk with his lunch and he likes it! Have given it in his TT sippy flip top cup straight from the fridge because the sooner he likes it like that the better as far as I am concerned.

Which reminds me - does anybody know why 17ml is marked on the side of the tt sippy cup? Is it because it is impossible to get that 17ml out of the damn thing? However hard he tries Benjamin can't seem to drink that last little bit!!

Sorry, have only read the last two pages, haven't been on since friday afternoon.

Hope your hubby is getting better MFD. Hugs to Sami, who seems very subdued.

There also seems to have been many unsettled babies last night. Last night we had the worst night ever, i can just about cope with an hours screaming in the middle of the night. But unsettled, whinging and crying out all night, has seen me off. even brought Alex into our bed at 5am (something i never do, because i don't want him to get used to it). Thought i'd be a lovely partner and let OH share in the joys of the sleepless nights. It didn't help at all and we both look like zombies going off to work today.
Alex was burning hot, and paracetamol and nurofen didn't seem to help either. He has gone off to MILs this morning, having been told, that if they say he hasn't murmered all day again, he can pack his bags and go and live there. Because its just not on that he is the perfect baby at their house (or so they say) and mummy and daddy are living with a grump.

I see i must have much to read back on, and maybe a debate on BF/FF to stay away from, as it looks like i might explode.

Off out to pick up prescription for Alex during lunch, good luck, happy vibes to all who need them, expecially Tara, her DD and DGD

i have given LO sips here and there because i do not want to be faffing about with the mixing of a small amount with formual etc.

i am just wondering about starting her on more now to see if it will help with her eating (my own strange reasoning )

is your marking the juice marking? ours has a marking on it (though not sure if it's 17ml) which is where to put the juice/squash and the rest water.well that is if you follow their measurements. LO can never get that last bit out, unless she's splashing the cup about of course

She is 1 in a month or so, I wouldn't swap Benjamin completely yet but I am happy for him to drink moo milk now.

wanted to share what DH said last night....

we were putting K to bed and DH was giving him his kiss goodnight.... on the forehead as usual. he said then he wont give him a kiss on the mouth incase K turns out *whispers* gay

Booby group was good, all the kids were 6m+ so they were all cooing over my littlie

The HV wasn't there when i got there, running late, butthe reception lady asked my name and said oooooooooooh i know you - she is a schoolfriends mum, so i told her it was my first time going and she looked after me by introducing me to the booby club leader.

And there was an awkward moment (for me) when one of the ladies was telling me who everyone was " and this is xx she's a peer support mum" and i went to introduce myself, and she thought i was asking what peer (seeing as i have an identical, albeit spelt different name) meant so she went on for ages explaining :rotfl:

I'll deffo go again Not next week though as it's half term, and DS will find it snoozetastic. Got signed up for some stuff i can take DS to aswell, shame the horse riding was fully booked he'd have loved it.

Gotta take my car to the garage tomorrow Got a feeling it's gonna be pocket hurty.

Had a phone call from that strange woman again, she was letting me know the ex has been found and is staying with a friend (yeah, no !!!!!!, i know who it'll be and she's a bint). Apparently his mother had told strange woman to let me know. Well that was big of her.

We have this cup, got it from asda but looking on amazon i have just spotted the big cow cup:) i think I will get that for him to have his (afternoon cows) milk in and keep the small one for his water/juice. No markings on it though mfd and he manages to drain it.

Also kai has been standing unaided Well he has done it 3 times up to now, and only very briefly but I am still excited about it:D

I cannot believe they took Poppie away without letting Tara's dd see her first....absolutely shocking!!!

Hope you are ok sami....did dh get off ok this morning?

:rotfl: OH is perpetually terrified because Molly is constantly putting her tongue in people's mouths.

I imagine this is a story we'll be telling her boyfriends in years to come.

I'm feeling a little bit :mad:. OH and Molly are snuggled up snoozing in bed. I've just had to go out in the cold to post two Very Important Letters that were given to me with the comment that they needed to be posted today because they were Very Important. But would he bother his butt to do it?!?!?!? Noooooooooooooo. And I know he's sick but I'm sick too. Hmph.

Right, that's four things off my list. Off to tackle the laundry mountain and then some lunch for me, nomnomnom.
