MFD, glad your hubby is on the mend think he has had the same op as my dad, at least your description sounds the same. He was a sore and uncomfortable for a few weeks after he got out the hospital but you wouldn't know now, he's his normal grumpy self lol
You may have to get him some comfy trousers with soft waist bands on them when he gets out depending on where his scaring is, my dads was right through waist band height and it would get irritated by certain trousers, jeans etc were a no no, as wear belts. He also found that just like me after C/S a pillow across his belly for cough's/laughing and getting up from mums lovely but badly positioned sofa helped. HTH and i'm not waffling to much
Tara so glad things are sorted on the ward now Major vibes for DGD and DD
Yippeee for babies with teeth,
Beenie hope you get sorted with the BF/FF i have no idea i failed at the BF again gutted.
Their was more but i forgot was reading with Aiden in my arms just got him down.
Went out today with mum and she ordered her new shower and bath, dad was in shock at the price until i showed him the price of others that were naff in comparison, he conceded that mums choice was best lol so we will be fitting them in the next few weeks and i will be offering to dog sit so i can have a shot of the shower.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Formula from a carton can be stored in the fridge for 24 hrs (runs away to check) if its still in the carton but once in the bottle its use within 2 hours same as formula powder....
Yup - that is why I don't read the carton
See - this is why I NEEDED to BF!!! I am too lazy / slack to be bothered with all the rules!!I did wonder if i could do that, i put 5oz in the bottle and left the rest in the carton. Not sure now after seeing what Maz wrote though. I'm sure if i microwaved it for 10 mins it'd kill anything nasty:eek: :rotfl:
Tia, thanks i will try some different teats. Not keen on buying a tub of powder just yet, it's pricey  If she starts taking the cartons i will though. How long can you keep a tub of powder once opened?
Has anyone tried those TT bottles with the anti colic tube thing inside? Are they any good?
Tara (if you read this) did you see that angela said she's got some girly early baby clothes for DGD?
Amber woke up not long after her quick bf, and drank 1oz of formula. She doesn't seem overly fussed though but probably more because she's bled me dry all day
Don't give up on what you have yet. If she was upset and you poked something strange and new in her mouth when she expected her beloved nipple then what is she supposed to do?
If somebody gave you chopsticks when you were starving you wouldn't like it (unless you are good at chopsticks like moi ) you would want your knife and fork. If somebody gave you chopsticks when you were peckish you would have a go and with a bit of practice you would get good at it
We have the TT bottles with the anti-colic insert. Dunno if they are worth it or not, they are just the first ones that I (or hubby) bought and I didn't want to change after that. They are much more expensive and faffy (3 extra parts to sterilise and put back together.
