Nicki, I'm so pleased to hear that the meds are finally working for Edward. FWIW if I were your friends I certainly wouln't expect you to pay for the damaged item, although would appreciate that you had offered.
MM- big hugs for back to work tomorrow. I'm sure the anticipation of it tonight will be far worse than actually being there tomorrow.
SS- sorry to hear that you are all poorly, and a big boo to OH's returning illness. Is it something that can be ultimately be fixed, or something that will keep on returning?
The Eve's pudding was so good- I highly recommend it. Gonna make Elle' apple scones tomorrow, can you tell Asda had Bramleys on offer?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Choppy I think they say to use full fat milk, as babies need lots of fat in their diets compared to what we need. So as long as you put a nice big dollop of butter in her mash or whatever then I'm sure semi-skimmed is fine

Hi SS, Lyon - avoid...got it:) Sorry to hear yo are all poorly and hope OH doesn't get too bad.
Dh has !!!!!!ed off out again (to his mates house), he never used to go out in the evening but it seems to be getting more frequent lately:(. He said he is stressed and just needs to get out for some fresh air for a bit. I suggested he took the dog for a walk but he wanted to go on his bike, I asked him how much fresh air he gets in his helmet:p
I have been a bit hormonal today and have cried a few times, once because I stupidly read a post on babycentre that I should NEVER have looked at!! and now feel like crying because dh has gone out.
SM, you are going back to work on Kai's birthday. I would love to get to a meet-up, not sure if I will though as I have little boogies birthday then 2wks later we are on holiday so need to save every penny atm. Then in April it is the garden project, inc getting the huge tree chopped back. The neighbours have been complaining about it since last summer, it is really overhanging into their garden and he is worried it is going to topple as it is starting to lean!!!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Nudey picic was indeed in the hotel room.Millie's_Mum wrote: »Get well vibes to you guys, you are not having the best time at the moment are you? FWIW I'd defriend her, I wouldn't want to think that she was just staying 'friends' for pics of my daughter.
We'll be ok, but thank you
I'm not sure what to do. Part of me thinks she did it in a fit of spite and now can't/won't back down, but I'm pretty sure she can be that vindictive, so.... gah.got-it-spend-it wrote: »SS- sorry to hear that you are all poorly, and a big boo to OH's returning illness. It should be fixable - I think the hospital discharged him too soon the last time.
Oooh, I forgot to tell you Molly's latest horror trick. She latches on and feeds furiously, then flings herself backwards so I spray milk everywhere, normally on her face. At the airport, however, she contrived it so it missed her completely and sprayed an arc over about two feet of waiting area carpet :rotfl::oOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Yep - just pat his back or rub it.
Have you not heard of the Shush Pat? Definite way to stop a baby crying - shush past his ear and pat his back. As babies can only concentrate on 2 things at once they forget why they are crying.(Says the Baby Whisperer)
Another fact I learnt this week - babies can't focus on water. When they look into a swimming pool they don't see the water just straight to the tiles at the bottom as they haven't learnt how to focus on the water!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Evening all..
We've been out for lunch for Mum's birthday (which is actually tomorrow), then I've been into town with my sister, and then she came back here and she did all the washing up while I made veg mush. She said "what do you want me to do now?" and jokingly I said "make flapjack" so she started getting all the ingredients and made it!It's just cooling now... wish it'd hurry up! Oh, and she brought me a big flower arrangement from the dinner she organised on Friday night
Tomorrow we're out for lunch again at a little place in the town centre with my mum, sis, SIL and her mum - we will be ladies what lunch (plus a babba)!
Hope all are well.. I kinda skim read but took nothing in :cool:0 -

hi all, just a quick q if nobody minds...
If i was to give Amber 1 bottle of formula tonight, should i be expressing in place of that feed?
I don't want to muck my supply up or anything, so if i need to express in place of the feed i won't bother.0
