Nicki - things aren't going your way right now are they? xxx

To be fair, things feel great at the moment, despite the burglary and today's drama, because the Domperidone and Losac seem to be working for Edward, who has stopped crying all day and every day, and is now the smiliest happiest baby in town :j. It's only now that he is a happy chap that I'm fully realising how tough the first 16 () weeks were with the non stop crying. We have an appointment with the paed on Thursday and hopefully he'll have started to put on weight too, but even if he hasn't, 'm still thrilled with how well these meds have worked for him.

SS - how many times have you looked at her friends list? I sometimes 'lose' friends from my list but they re-appear days later without me having to re-add them . I'm hoping it's just a glitch! I think it's incredibly petty to remove him if she has

He looked at his overnight and she wasn't on it (he was just looking through it, apparently...) and I checked hers this morning and again just now. He's not on it. Incredibly petty and I'm disgusted by her.

I'm going to try to just put together some stuff for tara DD anyhow and see what I can do. So far I have put: sanitary towels, 4 muslins, paracetamol, senokot, baby blanket (will look for vests but the littlest I have is tesco new baby (that's going to be way too big isn't it?))

I was going to suggest checking the Senokot package to be sure it's ok for lactating mummies, but have checked and you're not sending it so *love* instead.

we discovered that DD (with special needs) had been through their bags, and damaged something quite valuable :o.

Never rains but it pours :( I'm sorry.

    Good luck tomorrow MM.

    Yay for teeth!

Is SJ having her littlie right now?!

    How's Tara's DGD and DD?

Hello everyone. Let the tourist board suggest that you never ever visit Lyon. It's all bloody mountains and my legs are killing me. And someone tried to steal my wallet under the guise of helping me into the train - fortunately my mummy handbag is crammed so full that he was unable to lift anything out. There is a fantastic gourmet food market though, nomnomnom. We had a posh nudey picnic in the hotel last night complete with ham and cheese and foie gras and lovely bread.

The bad news is that we all have varying degrees of a nasty cold, and OH has what seems to be a recurrence of his previous nasty illness. It looks like I'll need to take emergency leave again, and this time I'm not expecting my mother to bother even offering to help.

Am glad you finally have a combination of meds that suit him!
I used to hate it when J screamed for hours in the evening :(

No harm in trying. The Baby Whisperer suggests just taking it away at night by patting him to sleep instead, after 3 days he will be used to not having it and won't need the patting.

Sugar - welcome home! If you weren't so far I'd come and help you out :)
SJ's waters broke this morning so she was going into the hospital - I still lurk over there every now and then even though I don't know many of the girls on there now as they've all moved over here!

  • Evening all. Have caught up on a few pages. so firstly strong baby vibes from Hampshire to the west country again! ~~~~~

MM you will be fine when you get there, but I know how you feel. You got everything ready for tomorrow?

And hoorah for new teeth all round.

We had our trip to the shoe shop. Izzy didn't like having her feet measured, but it turns out her feet are size 3 1/2 and we have some purple shoes for her now, which she seems to like. DH went to the garden centre with his parents and picked up a chocolate mint plant too, which I wanted to find so it's all good :)

I do hope you mean in the hotel room

Get well vibes to you guys, you are not having the best time at the moment are you? FWIW I'd defriend her, I wouldn't want to think that she was just staying 'friends' for pics of my daughter.

    Hi all,

I'll catch up in a minute, but just wanted to say a BIG Happy Birthday to Violet!!!

Question: If I make food for C, can I make it with semi-skimmed milk? I know "they" say use whole milk, but if she's getting her 600ml intake from other sources (fromage frais, formula, etc) does it matter? We buy semi-skimmed milk for us and on the couple of occasions I've bought a pint of whole milk to use for C, I've had to throw it away before I've used it all. If it is important that she only has whole milk, I guess I could pour half of it in another container and freeze it.

    Off to catch up now...
