My Dad used to say 'Don't let anything into your stomach unless it's through your mouth' :o Very embarrassing when you are 15 and he's dropping you off in front of all your friends!

  • Right I am shattered and feeling a bit sniffly, had a sore throat the last couple of days but was hoping it wouldn't develop into anything. Maybe an early night will help... although T probably has other ideas! Might leave DH to it like I did last night.

Off to bed now hopefully. Thanks for all helpful comments -much appreciated.

Haha - get me! Telling you to do what I should have done!
I bought all my meat on the Wednesday, went into labour that night and ended up wasting some of it!

My grandad had given me a whole trout that he'd caught. It was too big for the two of us to eat so we got it out of the freezer on the Saturday night to take to a BBQ on the Sunday. I went into labour just gone midnight on the Sunday, so the trout was on the draining board in the baking sun all day _pale_. Because I came home from hospital the same day, it wasn't too bad (although was starting to smell a little bit) so DH put it straight in bin outside. We never have told my grandad that we didn't eat his trout!

I know - he'd go to drive off and then wind down the window and shout it out in front of everyone! He thought he was being cool
He is one of those Dad's that tries to hold your hand to cross the road when you are 14 *MEGA ROLLS EYES*

Choppy - I had cooked a huge pot of chilli and had chopped up a load of veg for a casserole - I was putting the chilli in the freezer whilst in labour and the veg went off. :rotfl: A huge twin pack of mince also went off cos I never got round to cooking it and the chicken breasts were frozen as they were so needed cooking into a full meal when defrosted! Not what you want when you have a newborn baby. Although I've cooked EVERY night since I came out of hospital!

  • Another member of the Condom Club as of last week! :D

Still not made the dr appointment and I actually feel better for not taking the POP.

    xx

That sounds like me! I had to stop taking the pill due to BP and never got on with the POP so just stopped taking it in the end.

Chopsticks- I thought I was the only one with a Grandad who goes trout fishing- he'll be 88 this year . Very :money:though as he gives his catches away- not to me though as he still thinks I'm too much of a little girl to actually cook anything! Maybe I should get him to send one Weezl's way!

the doctors have put him on a new milk called neocait another man made milk and he has taken a reaction to it already, he is screaming non stop and everytime he is being fed is violently sick :( he has an appointment at the sick kids hospital in edinburgh in march but TBH they need to see him now! there is nothing of him he is so skinny that she has to buy braces or his trousers fall off when she picks him up!
i feel i should be with her for this app but its the hospital where my nephew was before he died and i still find it hard and cant go, my dad is going with her so she will have some support but honestly if you saw him you would know something wasnt right? they just wont listen?
