Thank you GISI, noted. Do you have a blender and do you like beetroot :):o

searchie, would you pretty please do me a favour and look on the packet of all-purpose and tell me the ingredients? I thought they were on my supermarket.co.uk, but nope!

Weezl, highlight if you want to read, it's not something folk need to read unless they are morbidly nosy

Weezl. post abruption was different for me, I had an em c section followed by complications, including HELLP, so my blood count was very low. I had transfusions of blood and plasma as well as fluids and lots of drugs. My clotting factors came back as 6 (normal level 500) post op and 74 before the op (30mins after I had massive sudden vaginal bleeding). I was on iron for 3 months (sytron, baby iron). But that was from the blood loss as well as the HELLP. I was very sore and was the most bruised they had even seen after the section, due to the blood from the abruption seeping through the uterus wall into the surrounding tissues. The bruising was from hip to hip and went as far up as my belly button. Down below was also bruised. Behind my abruption (which I think was central) there was a 10cm clot. After I 'woke up' 3 days after it happened, I was another 2 days before I could walk. I had tunnel vision for about a week. I was very weak the full 2 weeks in hospital and probably for a good few weeks afterwards. During the 2 weeks in hospital I slept when not in SCBU with DS2. I fell asleep on visitors. I had very little apetite. But it's difficult to know what was due to what. I was on so many different drugs (I had eclampsia post delivery). The blood loss caused my to have HELLP, triggered the eclampsia, liver and kidney failure, lung problems (mild) and my heart rate was a steady 122 so always just on the verge of heart attack.

I discharged myself after 2 weeks, when DS2 was discharged. They sent him up to the ward with me and he was 'fit for home', but I wasn't. However I was sick fed up of the hospital and told them I was leaving with or without their agreement. The mw visited daily for a further 2 weeks.

But, but, but, mine was an extreme case, and it is rare for things to go so badly.

Yes that would be helpful, thanks :A

I was thinking of having a trial run, but kind of hoping I won't get chance :D

I would love to if I can fit it in around bubs!! As you can see from my sig I'm trying to start properly budgeting this month.

    thank you :)

Main suggestion- contraction position. Fill pool pretty full, with hot water. put both your tops of arms on the edge of the pool, with enough space between your forearms to be holding a G and A tube up to your mouth. Let all your weight go onto your arms and the rest of you be supported by the water with your legs out behind you like a swimming frog. Get DH to practice pushing down either side of your spine on your lower back as you do this.

second suggestion - between contractions position) (good to test how this is with your knees, you may find after a few hrs you'll be glad if you can put padding under the base of the pool) bring your knees back under yourself and support your own weight again, now instead of G and A make space for a big mug of sports drink between your arms.

    hth :)

Tia thank you:A. I'm sorry I had no idea. I really hope me asking hasn't brought it up painfully/unnecessarily. You really are amazing to do it all again for ambertronic. Hugs.
