how can I even begin to catch up?! all this talk of the tc reminds me of my northern roots, I remember it opening not long before I came down here.

got my child benefit through in 10 days which has now been spent on credit card debt - oh well!

am sat here with a very snuffly baby and a bottle of saline drops, hope they work - have doctors appointnent booked for tomorrow morning just to be on the safe side.

OH is changing Isla's bum singing 'Isla pyla pudding princess' whilst she laughs at him. :rotfl:Im not sure what a pudding princess is but Isla finds it highly amusing.

No chocolate (actually *smug* I had a chocolate crispy cake the other night and thats been it in a week and a half, I am now BELOW 15stone!)but I do have treacle scones Will have one toasted with jam for my supper.

Speaking off food, can I just indulgently say how proud I am of myself. I have changed my eating habits so much so that I have had my dinner and don't feel the need to cram something sweet down there i eat a breakfast (toast and jam), a snack (fruit) a lunch, another fruit snack, a dinner and then a supper (I find I don't crave junk at night if I have a supper to look forward too). And I'm not scoffing cakes, chocolate or other junk. they are now properly treats

Weezl, I think I remember a company who delivered birthing pools in a week... think it was B&B third tri forum, will have a look and see if I can find it again. I'll also check my local freegle etc.

Tia, how were you post abruption, did it make you really anaemic? does it hurt after the baby comes? Wishes I knew more about what you and Tara DD went through...:o:) ps thanks re the pool too!

well done tia not easy but once you get in to it its like second nature ... my treat with a reduced cal and fat moouse love them but only get them when they're on whoopies .. so good for my diet and my purse x

I guess I feel guilty because technically im still married, though legally seperated and in the process of divorce. Im only seperated 3 months, that doesnt seem like a very long time.

Ex Husband has no idea and is drinking heavily daily. Though thats his choice. Its not like he wants back or anything hes happy to indulge in his alcoholism, but he would go ballistic if he knew.

This guy has told me im beautiful more times in the last 3 weeks than my husband did in 13 years.

Weezl not sure you'd want my pool now anyway - the top ring has a slow air leak! I'm still planning on using it though. Going to top it up with air when we start to fill it and again just as I get in and hope it'll be ok. Not a big deal to top it up a little bit after a couple of hours if I need to, I hope *fingers crossed*
